bleeping snobby cunts. Tradesmen are the new middle class, have you ever met a poor plumber or electrician? And that’s the problem. They achieve it all through learning a life long trade the old fashioned way on an apprenticeship and they didn’t need to set foot anywhere near a russell group uni to do so. It turns everything they think and believe on their heads. Despite what they think though you have to have good GCSE grades to get anywhere near an apprenticeship these days because so many kids wants to do them. So this idea that they are all thickos is bleeping bollocks as at least a C in English and Maths would be essential.
I knew a police chief inspector who had done an apprenticeship as a plumber before joining and was going back to it once he retired in his 50s because he had kept his hand in with jobs for friends and 'the money was so good' - on top of a CI's pension.

That's almost textbook for Celiac. Don't ask how I know.

Hardly going to lead to him expiring like another of those consumptive waifs. You just stop eating pasties and get the duck on with it.
Bet you anything to Doctor came up with celiac right at the beginning but this bint dismissed it, complained and pushed until they did every test under the sun at great expense to the NHS.
If any of it even happened, that is. Which it didn't.

Has your mum considered starting a thread on MN about the shortbread issue? How horrific for her 😉 My husband is actually an electrician although he’s an engineer not domestic. The idea that he doesn’t have a work ethic and is thick is just ludicrous. He works a 70 hour week and (I know this would shock MN) went to college to get his qualifications.

He‘s also house trained and knows how to use a toilet appropriately.
My Dad was a tradesman with a big company, did gas heaters, installed white goods, fixed plumbing issues etc etc. Granted he struggled with some spelling (but not more than your average person I’d guess) but he was so good at maths. After he died I found the exams he took (and continued to take every few years) and I couldn’t work out half of what they meant. My Dad had no University degree.
However I have a University degree, did academically well in most areas of school but I need to mentally prepare myself before I even attempt to put together a flatpack chair from IKEA.

Do you know what I’m sick of seeing? ‘What colour are my eyes?’ threads. Not only do I not care, just look in the bleeping mirror, you twonk, or at that photo you’ve just posted. I’m going to assume you actually have eyes seeing as you’ve just posted a photo of them so USE THEM. They’re either blue, green or brown, it’s not like they can be purple with an hint of orange. And the threads spawn. They die down, then someone posts one and another 6 appear. View attachment 1996268 qView attachment 1996269 qView attachment 1996270 qView attachment 1996271 q
