Molly is not gracious at accepting constructive criticism but your sister also comes off as a total troll and obvious hater in those exchanges. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Actually I could share the video she took after of their chat history because she made like 20 positive comments and had zero response. And then Molly said, you aren’t following when if she’d looked, she have seen that she had been responding since launch so likely duh was following and then wasn’t anymore, which was the truth.

I’ll admit both of us had turned off of Molly at that point, but we used to be full on stans. We were there on Twitch when they announced Mammoth Club. It was their actions since launch that turned us both off. For me the final straw was the trivia; both her and Max defended his decision to copy an already existing quiz. And when I went to share with others in their Discord, my comment was instantly deleted. So they have made it difficult to provide feedback. Considering we used to be fans and turned away, you’d think they’d want to know why 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think she's completely different now than how she was back when she was on All Ears. I used to be a big fan (wouldn't say "stan" per say), mainly because I'm a huge Disney fan, and I pride myself on being knowledgeable about a lot of the little trivia and hidden secrets at the parks -- and I was STILL learning new and fun things when I watched her videos. She's just different now. And I feel like she regularly says things like she's happy she gets to do things "her way" now -- but I guess I liked her better when she was having to do things AE's way. I loved when she'd show us "a perfect morning" at one park -- and then in a different video show us "a perfect afternoon" at another park. I'm not on Discord, but I am on Instagram, and I used to think it was fun when she did the "Instagram decides my day" videos. I don't feel like we get any of that type of content anymore...

I agree. I would like to see Molly revert back to some older methods.

Unfortunately Discord is here to stay - Molly, A & M have established that as home base for interacting with the viewers (who enjoy chat interspersed with gifs that detract from any actual conversation being had).

The current slew of videos are mostly content I have no interest in. The parks are shifting and I feel like between crowds, weather and new policies she could re-make some of the older content and not repeat the videos. I'm not looking for her to do the daily report junk that some channels and websites have made themselves a name for - that's garbage and there is zero creativity. I just want her to go back to being her old self.

A note, I prefer when Molly is talking in a more neutral tone of voice verses the sharp, loud tones of a carnival barker. If she starts the video off by yelling at the camera I'm most likely to leave the video on red until I'm out of entertainment options.

So I was a HUGE Molly fan/stan, whatever you want to call me.

She has lost me with MC.

I have tix to Epcot After Hours as part of our vakay at the end of July. I was happy to see she did a video about it.

Besides her and Alan's running "millennial" commentary, dancing, singing, and over-the-top "Disney-adult schtick" - I really learned nothing. I actually gained more knowledge from Tim Tracker's video a few weeks ago.

I stopped following her on Instagram - I follow her for WDW/Universal content - not to get "woke".

Over her.

And I feel like she regularly says things like she's happy she gets to do things "her way" now

Her way is people paying her directly to act like she's their friend.

That's as sad a statement of a channel as I've ever heard.

I'll also say the folks who thought Molly was the creative genius at AE, I think their content more and more proves she wasn't and it sounds like Discord is their creative director.

I stopped following her on Instagram recently anyway -- again, I enjoyed when her Instagram was more "Help me plan my day" and less political and affiliate links.

Totally agree in that I wish she would get back to focusing on the parks more - I have a couple of trips coming up in September and October, and I always thought she did a nice job showcasing how to strategically work your way through the parks. I feel like it's been a while since she's done those... (on the other hand, sometimes watching those videos were maddening because no matter how hard I tried, I could never replicate the success that she had!)

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the yelling.

Edited to add: I'm REALLY not going to want to watch their videos if Max becomes more present in them.

I feel like these vloggers don't always do this stuff in one day even if they say they are. Nothing stopping them from coming back another day in the same outfit and finishing up. Also, if you're not going to these places every day, you have other priorities than some made up challenge.

At least they plan and have a production schedule unlike some people like Kyle Pallo. But yeah Molly has definitely changed since AE in many ways.

I just don’t see how having so much content around such a niche thing can be sustainable? The trackers used to be decent then they started making money had a kid and changed completely. I forgot they existed and they were the first ones I found years ago.

I think my position has also changed since previously I hadn’t been to WDW in over a decade. Now that I’ve gone the excitement and the discovery isn’t there as much. Though, I’d like to find some nuances to check out my next trip but I’ll hunt the google machine for those.

Be very careful when following Tim Tracker channel's advice, they are known for interpreting and recalling things incorrectly.

You dropped out for the same reason my son did - he had just discovered TTT through the cruise videos, loved them, then the channel totally changed. (I had dropped out years earlier.) Tim Tracker's channel has dropped in views 4-fold in just 3 years, which just so happens to be the age of his first kid. He has among the worst interaction with his subscriber numbers that I've ever seen.

You are correct about the non-sustainability of Theme Park vlogging as a job. Like with travel agents, there will always be a need for current information to be created and posted, but the world doesn't need hundreds of vloggers, live streamers and websites out there elbowing to be first to present info. Everyone and their brother has their phone out at Disney thinking they'll make some easy cash by live streaming or creating TikToks to the point that they're in the way.

Molly was unique in that she had been a Disney tour guide and and the ability and desire to absorb not only historical but new information, then knew how to present it in a way that anyone could understand while not omitting important details. That's the extent of her strength, and it's clear that it is not something she really wants to do anymore. She'd rather play games and act spoiled. I'm not down for that.

Another point I want to add is that for me, as I get older, other than just basic how to get there, is it safe to travel to at that time of year etc, especially for an amusement park/theme park, I don't really need someone else to tell me what to do/hacks/how to have the BEST day/or even, dare I say it, if there's a new cupcake available. It's OK to look on something completely anew.

Took a driving trip a couple years ago and stopped for the day at King's Island en route back. It was refreshing to not look at anything but their website ahead of time and get the tickets. Got their app and had a great time.

I stopped watching him years ago.......I just happened to do a Youtube search of "Epcot After Hours" and his video came up. He actually showed more of the event so I could see for myself what the party looked like, Instead of Molly dancing around in a short skort and sweatshirt.

If they're going to keep posting multiple times a week, they should give Alan and Max more of their own vlogs and maybe even bring new people in, even if it's just an occasional collaboration with another YouTuber or someone going to Disney for the first time (in a long time, even). I know Max is not everyone's cup of tea, but Alan is very good at food reviews, so send him to do his own somewhere. Or send him and Max to do a guys' spa day.

I don't dislike Molly, but I liked her a lot better on AE when it wasn't all her and I couldn't necessarily predict how she'd react to something. Now I know all her likes and dislikes and (sigh) what's going to make her cry.
