My thoughts on MC’s video today: if I wanted to watch the Magic Happens parade, I would have watched Ordinary Adventure’s video of it from two months ago! They should really stay away from content other vloggers have done already because it makes you realize how bad their sound is, how bad their footage is (framing was whack), and how bad their editing is. I understand you have to cut the footage down to avoid the music getting flagged on YouTube, but Kitra actually timed the cuts well with the music. MC it was like, oh look there’s Miguel, and then he’s gone. The song just jumps with no attempt to even match the rhythm! And then when they talk about it after, they play the exact same footage again with their voiceovers. They didn’t get any B roll? Honestly makes me wonder what they are giving their editor to work with, maybe this poor person is doing the best they can.

I have another bone to pick: the description. They say quote, “We go to Disneyland all.the.time.” Wait a second. Last time I checked, Molly and Alan live in Orlando. Duckfist rarely posts himself at Disneyland without them. So who’s this going all the time? Maybe that’s why they’re two months late in sharing a parade Molly posted about already on her Instagram as having a great soundtrack weeks ago? I don’t understand their filming timelines and why it would take them 20 days to post this. I guess the poor editor gets the blame again!

They need to pay their editor more. So they can actually get video outs on time. No point doing time based events if you put a video out 2/3 weeks after the event.

Molly is starting to annoy me more than ever atm. she comes across as entitled. Id never have said that about Allears Molly.

When I encountered her, she was still with AE and was pretty entitled. Didn't help that other social media types were there as well. They were mostly full of themselves.
 
I just realized that Mammoth Club never talk about the hotels they stay at. Not too many resort tours? How can they call themselves a travel channel? That should include it, not the constant food challenges.

I guess if you're traveling with your spouse, you never know when you might want to race around a theme park and each eat enough for 2 people.

Sigh. What has now happened for me with Molly & Alan is what turned me off from watching Jenn and Tim Tracker (well, the Trackers have boatloads of reasons not to watch them!). The ridiculous "hosted" stays that most WDW vacationers will never experience.

Am I jealous, sure am. But the sense of "look at me/us that starts to come with these types of stays, is what automatically turns me off. Yes, by all means pleeeeeeeeeese give us a detail stay at the bungalows at the Poly. I know when I am booking, I have that struggle with whether we are going do POFQ or the Bungalows. :rolleyes:

Yeah, a whole lot with what you've said. They'll all say their opinions are their own, but there's clearly unwritten etiquette for those things. I think it's find something wrong, but not too much. Otherwise, they won't be hosted too much in the future.

Are they staying with Max when they are in LA? I know he mentioned before he stays with them when he is in Orlando.
 
Well I guess Mammoth is making enough Patreon/YouTube/Twitch money for Alan to quit his full time job and start working for Mammoth full time. I bet he got the vasectomy right before he lost his job’s insurance. My feeling is Max will never quit his full time job at Riot Games. With him on the west coast and never going to the parks and doing content on his own, why is he the other M? Molly should have just launched as herself and then Alan would have joined. Husband and wife make a lot more sense than husband wife and their friend who lives on the other coast.

Yeah, I think Max may be the only one of the three of them who realizes that YouTube bubble will pop eventually and you should keep that day job.

I have always assumed he knows the most about the Internet/technical end of the business and that is what he really brings to the table?
 
I’m honestly shocked that Alan quit his day job. That YouTube bubble could burst anytime and it would have been smart for him to keep his day job. Good luck to them and I hope they have good financial advisors and are banking as much of this as they can. They aren’t really using any of the money for the channel.

Yeah, that’s why Max has the most Instagram followers of the three 😂 he’s such a pro at social/internet.

The puff piece made it clear that what Max brought to the table was his investment. And I think he wanted to grow his personal Twitch following on Molly’s back. I think he honestly thought he was bringing something to the table with his Twitch, but if you look at the numbers he did not bring a significant amount of followers to the club.

I agree that Max will keep his job and the security it provides.
