Especially for someone who doesn't read here.
Hiding behind gossip boards? Do they completely know who the people are who give them "feedback"?
I'd have to say, the "ideas" they have on their own or from their focus group(?)/stans aren't great.
But what do I know? I don't have strangers forking over $29k/month to me.

I’ll be honest: I asked. Not to give my whole life story, but I joined this website so I could participate in this thread about her because I was unable to share my honest opinion in their Discord that she says is a space for both positive and negative feedback. My comments on Discord were instantly deleted by their mods and I didn’t know where else to go!

Is it okay if I can ask what comments you made on there? I'm sure they weren't bad. I guess they created an environment where no one could offer constructive criticism.

That tells me all I need to know about her.

I don’t have a screen cap, but I believe I phrased it as: did anyone else notice Max copied the Swift/Shakespeare quiz from Buzzfeed? I wanted to know if anyone else who was at the trivia was aware that he essentially miscopied and pasted a question, and clearly didn’t know which answer was right himself.

It was taken down immediately and the mod told me when I asked why it was because they wanted it to be a positive space, blah, blah, blah.

So are the mods in the discord thing the folks from Twitch? Like how does someone become a mod there, be a certain level of Patreon or something?

I think people are generally pretty fair here regarding Molly and Mammoth club. It’s not always positive but at least here people can give honest feedback.

It’s kind of like when they do AMAs and then get offended that people ask certain questions. They just don’t seem to handle criticism well, which you have to do be able to do if you work in “entertainment”.

I will agree that some pages on tattle are ruthless. I had to stop following the Mr Morrow thread because people just wanted to make fun of his weight the whole time.

Its like that with just about all the creators though. They get to a point where they don't want anything critically helpful said and then anything not kissing up or said in a dumbed down tone gets deleted. That doesn't help channels grow and survive. It suffocates them and they don't age well.

And become insufferable with an echo chamber surrounding them. I think it's a by product of saying, "Hey pay to be my friend" and I'll boost what you say here. The folks who've paid don't want to admit they wasted money, so they'll complement them as long as it's feasible to.

Content wise yeah seem kind of meh to me. I never really was super into the Molly McKnowItAll persona anyway. Probably just an act for the camera I take everything I watch on YouTube with a grain of salt but especially vloggers.

But it has gone down since their initial launch, I haven't kept track, but I think a couple thousand/month. It was definitely at $31 or 32k maybe more at some point, I think they'll slowly come down to a reality point. I don't think their viewing audience has nothing but disposable income.

Oh, so she’s read the Best Life threads then.

But real talk, this place is hardly Kiwifarms. I don’t see anyone being needlessly cruel or actively trolling anyone covered here. It’s my understanding this site is to gossip and talk tit. I’m not sure anyone who posts here sees it as constructive criticism or even takes it that seriously (I am personally counting down the minutes to Christmas vacation by pretending to work).
