In that Lipstick is a product designed to make women more attractive to men, I'm not complaining. She can wear it, or not wear it, however she sees fit.
😗💋
Please tell us your experience with putting on lipstick Petey. We're AllEars.
Guess you've never heard the term lipstick lesbian? Lol. People can have an opinion on something they've never used or experienced. Otherwise there would be zero discussion of professional sports!

You all are throwing darts and missing the board.

You complain about the color.
You complain about how she wears it.
Would you complain if she wore no lipstick? Probably yes.

Lipstick is just a thing to wear. In essence it's like clothes, not that I want or encourage anyone to run around naked.

It's her face, let her style it as she wants. She doesn't need to conform to your desires.

Honestly, if that's all you have to complain about then she's doing incredibly well.

I was so excited to see Molly and Alan going to California. And then immediately disappointed to see that the first thing they are doing is a live eating pop tarts, I assume sitting around Duckfist’s apartment. Y’all are in California. Why not go to in-n-out? Or do something remotely Californian? Seems they are trying to recreate the Oreo video, which granted, I enjoyed. However, I would rather watch a video of it that’s been edited rather than a live for two hours. I was also hoping Molly and Alan may stay at a Disney California resort, but I guess it’s Duckfist’s guest room. Where’s that Patreon money? Take yourselves out somewhere and make the most of being back west. They can eat pop tarts any old time.

I doubt they're staying with Max, his apartment is minuscule.

I have questions:
Does Max live near Disneyland, as in, within a 30 minute drive?
Are they thinking they're committed to a live stream and believe that it can only be done from in the confines of Max's apartment?
Have they not figured out the LIVE button on Youtube? (I'm not a twitch streamer, but I'm sure it has something similar.)

Not a fan of testing out pop tarts here either, although I'm sure they'll get laughs.
Was this influenced by the Discord group? I feel like Molly needs to age-up her game a little bit. Too many teenagers influencing her behavior.

Yeah I thought to myself: who eats pop tarts besides 12 year olds or stoned desperate college students?

I didn’t see their live stream where they “drafted teams” for this trip (whatever that means) so maybe they did disclose their plans. It would be helpful if they communicated their plans more clearly to their followers. I have no idea if they’re staying in Anaheim, LA, or Long Beach (where I believe Max lives) or how long they’ll be staying for. You’d think you’d want to inform your followers so we can follow along. I might turn my notifications on, for example. I am planning a trip to Disneyland/LA and would love all the little details. I know Mouse Vibes does not have anywhere near the followers, but during a recent live they were actually kind enough to answer my travel questions and give specific recommendations in terms of hotels and tacos. Given that Molly and Alan just got to California, I’d rather them just do a live chatting about their travel plans than watch them eat pop tarts. Although frankly I can’t be bothered with Twitch anymore. I would be more inclined if it was on Mammoth’s YouTube channel than Duckfist’s own personal twitch channel.

I don’t think the lipstick is that bad, I think it just gets messy while at the parks - understandably so from sweating, eating and drinking all day. I just always think why would you bother? But I also don’t understand people dressing up to go to the parks - I mean it’s a theme park in Florida after all, wear something breathable!

I don't watch their stuff, but just looked about half of one today and it really wasn't far removed from AllEars.

I actually went back and looked at AllEars and DFB YT videos and DFB's were kind of what became the AllEars format, just with VoiceOver instead of someone in the video. These were before Molly was there.

The AllEars first video with the DFB stylization had someone named Chris doing VoiceOver a la AJ. The next one had the same visual style, but with Molly hosting. (And there were some with the annoying Margeaux. I never understood why she'd say "AllEars" at the beginning, point at the top of her head, but never had Mickey or Minnie ears on her head.)

So I think the reality is that DFB put forth the format and Molly and others brought their respective personalities. In the end, I think Molly needed AllEars to give her a place to host and AllEars needed a regular host to put in.

Lipstick lesbian just means you stayed more feminine. It’s not a term one uses anymore more as folks have moved forward in there if I can’t really see it so now, the proper term is female presenting or femme.
I just wish Molly spent time learning how to apply makeup. Bronzer could really be a good friend for her to have. I also think she’s drawing on lips that she doesn’t actually have which is why it always looks like it’s running away. Maybe she needs lip fillers.

Fair enough. I've said elsewhere here women vloggers get judged way more on their appearance compared to the male ones. At least for ones I follow. And the most critical often seem to be other women.

The amount of excitement Molly's had in the last two videos is the exact reason why I want her to visit more new places for their vlogs, including places that aren't amusement parks. She has a genuine appreciation for fun details that make experiences more colorful and unique; she can still have fun at Disney but that same dimension of excitement isn't there when she's visiting 4-5 times a month to a place she used to work at.

If you read this Molly, don't wait for Max - start planning trips now to make 2023 an exciting year of new sights and exploration.

I really enjoy what Alan brings to the videos and when he does narration; it helps break things up a bit and he really has a lovely voice! However, I had trouble hearing him at certain times again in the Universal Christmas video. When they were tasting the food it was hard to hear both of them over the Christmas music in the background. Microphones aren’t that intrusive, and it would make their content so much better! I hope Molly is reading this too.

Not knowing what kind of camera they use, but there are very unobtrusive microphone systems out there like the Rode Go II system that has two wireless transmitters and the receiver goes on top of the camera. These aren't intrusive at all and cost less than $300. I am sure they could afford it given their Patreon counts. Their excuse for not using a microphone was lame...

I know there’s less intrusive mics but I still kind of hate the thought of people carrying around professional filming equipment and wish Disney would ban it all. People are just trying to enjoy themselves, not be filmed.

I know it’s ironic because the park videos were helpful to me in the past. But I still get so annoyed when I see vloggers acting like they’re professional reporters.

Re: Park reporters. 🤣 👏 The ones that take themselves too seriously are usually getting it wrong anyway.
One exception to this is a vlogger who gets things right, but who ticks me off for no reason other than his know it all attitude is Brandon. I cannot stand the dude.

I can put up with MC using just a phone as their equipment. Molly doesn't even use a gimbal and does a great job of keeping the video level. I agree that they need to be a bit more attentive to the sound situation. Mics are not required but more voice-overs are in needed for those cases such as in Universal recently. The sound was better head with headphones, but I don't usually wear them just for a vlog. My guess is both the editor and Molly were wearing headphones reviewing the footage and failed to notice how their voices got washed out on cheap speakers.

They don't need professional equipment to add better sound. Surprisingly, people will leave a video for bad audio long before they would for bad video quality.
