Piggy backing off of same content.. different video.. she always eats the same things. Yes, we know you like Cheeseburger Steam Pods and cheese... try something else... <Cough><Tim><Cough>. "Jush" it up a little. Like, I don't want "eat every single thing in this entire land in one day" (that was ridiculous).. But they're always showing the same things.

Wasn't saying Jenn is good at all.
I'll maintain if they had a professional and deadlines, they communicated well about what they want the end product to be and they were paying for expediting, they only time they'd really save is putting the footage where the editor can get it. On a 3/week schedule, you can't spend a bunch of time with notes, even doing it themselves.

All or most of the vloggers seem to eat the same things all the time.

I caved and watched Molly's Very Merry Christmas Party vlog. It's the closest to the party I'll get this year, just cannot justify paying $400 for two tickets, and it's sold out on the night I'd go anyway.

Instead, I'll take that money, buy some gingerbread at one of the shops, probably the Gingerbread house at the GF for all of my family's stockings, and have plenty left over unless they're weighing the shingles out like gold.

Molly did a really nice job, yes, it's her standard to make good vlogs for events, but it's still a far cry better than any other vlogger I know of. She didn't portray any negativity, showed how to prioritize what you find most important, not what you're told is, and clearly showed viewers who may be attending which treats are at which locations.

Google is telling me the one day park pass to the MK (no hopper, not a multi day ticket) is $124 for any non-party night (price changes by date).
So rounding, it's about a $75 difference to get a lower crowd, no need to buy genie+ or special lightning lane access, there are cookies, cocoa, egg nog and more cookies all over the park included in the price, plus the parade, stage show and fireworks which are specific to the event exception to those last few days before & on Christmas Day.

It's still massively expensive, but I can see why some people think it's a decent price still.
I can't imagine having to pay $1000 for a family of 5 to attend though. This screams "Mom, Dad, leave the kids home with a sitter and make your way to Disney!"

Thats really my issue, when you get multiple family members it really adds up to something ridiculous. It seems like they don’t care about families anymore. (And I’m not anti adults only at Disney by any means, but at what point are most families going to just take a different vacation?)

Agreed. I don't see how any average income family can afford a trip to Disney yearly anymore.

For every comment people like us make, there's three times the number of Disney stans who will shout back "But you'll pay that or more for concert tickets and it's not as long or as fun." ... and Chapstick laps it up and tells the pricing folk to make it higher.

The people making the prices for Disney already have incredible incomes. They have no idea what they're doing to the average income family.

Since we are talking about pricing, I just got an email from both Kenny the pirate and DFB about the upcoming ticket price rsise. I wish the quality of the product went up as fast as the tickets do.

We’ve just got back from a trip - definitely felt quality had slipped. Encountered filthy toilets everywhere, rude cast members (I get it - they put up with a lot but still), Resort was tired and a bit grubby too - the price used to just about reflect the magic, but not anymore

This is the real problem with ticket increases. You are paying way more for admission and resorts now, and you’ve lost fast passes and magical expresses. My family of four has to pay way too much for a day of Genie+ on top of the over the top admission price now. It’s not even about, can we afford it? It’s about… is it worth it now? And the answer for our family is sadly no, and that’s something I never thought I’d say about Disney. I’m so disnenchanted with Disney parks.

We found we’re quite fond of Universal (and their prices) these days.

I loved the Harry Potter Exhibition video.
Molly and Alan were the perfect couple to review this. I can't wait for this exhibit to be close to me and hope I have someone to attend with.
  • Their outfits were cute and carefully planned.
  • The system was designed well, much better at recognizing individuals than anything Disney has put together, not really a game though.
  • I believe that every room had an interactive element. LOL at the portkey trolling Molly.
  • Wish they had stepped back with the camera to show us the interaction in potions.
  • Quittich, count the number of goals each of them make.
  • The glow Alan takes on after trying his drink.

Anybody see the AllEars Insta Post today where Quincy is wearing a very similar outfit to Molly and you can “shop the outfit”? Haven’t seen them do much with affiliate links until recently. It’ll be interesting if we see them also start to attend out of town events in the future …

Quincy is the last person that should be modeling anything. She always looks like she just rolled out of bed and hasn’t washed her hair in a week.

It's not like Molly and co. came up with the idea of affiliate links. I've seen folks do them more recently that I hadn't before (in other areas of interest)

I imagine AJ is not that happy-voiced person she pretends to be on DFB when their numbers drop.
The AE team was probably instructed to do anything they had to do (within legal limits) to recreate the success Molly "Stole" from them.

Quincy interpreted that as "Be Molly"

Well she didn't get to the page about putting on way too much lipstick badly.

In that Lipstick is a product designed to make women more attractive to men, I'm not complaining. She can wear it, or not wear it, however she sees fit.
😗💋
Please tell us your experience with putting on lipstick Petey. We're AllEars.

Well, Molly does tend to wear makeup as if viewers will be in the back row of a 1500 seat theatre.
