When Michael was in Starbucks (without a mask) he did say, "If you are not vaccinated you are expected to continue to wear your mask indoors, very very important". Is this his way of letting us know that he finally got vaccinated?
Michael has lied previously about covid protocols. Therefore, Michael does not deserve to get the benefit of doubt. When Michael shows his CDC immunization card with the lot numbers showing that he received the vaccine I might believe that he is vaccinated. On the other hand, he's a chronic liar and grifter so I'm not certain that I would trust that any CDC card he produces is legit. Michael has spent much of the last 2.5 years since becoming a Florida resident demonstrating that he is a person of low character, he is undeserving of any inferences of rule following. Plus: One of Michael's personality quirks is that he tells people to do one thing while he does the exact opposite thing. For instance, his tiresome instruction about putting down cell phones and enjoying WDW unconnected. Seriously. He said that.

He posted on his IG stories he tried “something new” and the video will be out tomorrow. It’s a picture of a 3…maybe a room number on his RC cruise?

Either way, in this newest video he is full out growing a mullet. Is he too cheap to go to a barber shop and pay $10 to get all the hair/fuzz shaped up? Better yet, can’t mommy do it for free?
Didn't he once try to go to the WDW barber (presumably using a gift card) and couldn't get in, so he cut his own brillo?

When I pointed that out on one of his videos, the Kaykateers jumped in to explain to me that it doesn't count, because it's his job.

Michael would say from time to time that he spent too much time on his phone at WDW, it had nothing to do with his "job" and michael acknowledged that fact several times. My opinion of the kaykateers is almost as low as my opinion of michael. If they put up a video a week they would probably become as dislikeable.

There are a few ways to avoid getting a vaccine and cruising on Royal Caribbean:

Just as Michael abuses DAS, I assume he lied about his vax issue to gain access to the ship. But he's not yet ready to commit perjury involving a Disney cruise. Michael recommends using a gopro on the cruise, but he recently lectured us not to use recording devices and enjoy the people we're with. :poop: Another babbling stream o'crap.

And add the "don't talk about orientation" thing. If you don't feel that's enough to convict him in a court of law, fine. But he doesn't get a presumption of innocence either. Sorry.

Just curious - I wonder sometimes what you would do (or have done) if you had to treat someone who felt like you think Michael feels.

I mean, you have said several times you "hate" Michael because of what you perceive his feelings are. It's just curious to me that you are a psychiatrist but then what would you do if he was your patient - or someone with similar feelings? Could you honestly work with him (or someone else) objectively without your personal bias or "hate" coming out?

ETA: don't come at me, I'm just legit curious

"Bath soaps. Love those!"

"Toilet here. We've seen those before."

His room tours are just like old times. Pointing out everything and loving every damn thing. Thanks Mike, we really needed to know the room has towels, tissues, hangers, soap and a toilet. He even stepped into the closet to show how much space there was. What is with him and getting into furniture? After the first 20ish minutes of this video he is definitely not as excited about this as a Disney cruise and he keeps pointing out the Dream and comparing everything to a Disney cruise.

Mike isn't my patient.

If I'm in a professional capacity, my feelings get turned off. I have plenty of patients that say all kinds of hateful tit (racist, homophobic, antivax...), and I generally pretend like I don't hear it. We have patients that we like and patients that we don't, and it only becomes a problem if our feelings interfere with the therapeutic relationship. "Counter-transference" is the technical term, and as long as you're aware of it, and run checks on yourself to make sure nothing is getting in the way, positive OR negative, that's the ethical way to do it. If it got to the point where I really felt like I couldn't maintain my objectivity, I'd transfer care to a colleague. Only time I've done that was when a patient started making inappropriate comments about me personally, which made me uncomfortable.

Forgive me for taking your example to an extreme, but you almost suggest that I shouldn't be allowed to dislike anybody, because I wouldn't be able to be objective about them on the off chance they ended up in my office.

Not watching the whole video, but I’d be curious if he ever mentions the likely drastic cost difference between Royal Caribbean and Disney. I always think Disney fanatics forget how much more Disney cruises are and that may be why some things are better. It’s not Disney magic. It’s $$$.

Also, he is now the third Disney vlogger I’ve seen suddenly decide to go on a regular cruise line for the first time. Is it just a coincidence? It seems odd to me they’ve all finally decided it’s worth it to step outside the Disney bubble.

Didn’t watch the whole thing but in first 9 minutes he points out the dream 3 times. Oh Mikey so close and yet so far…

Michael has a swim shirt now!!!!! Big news! No more hairy chest shots! (y)(y)(y) And new patriotic shorts!

He definitely is having a hard time dealing with being on a non-Disney cruise, to the point as others have said, that he keeps showing the Disney ship in the distance. Shopping isn't as fun for him, so he had to find any Disney merchandise he could, which were 2 pairs of Minnie & Elsa flip flops, to feel comforted. It's okay to be on this non-Disney ship since they have Disney merchandise.......

It's interesting that he & Kyle Pallo did the same cruise within a week of each other. Kyle was actually solo cruising. Michael just tries to make you think he's solo cruising.

Totally agree. The experience is better because it’s very expensive. I’ve done one short Disney cruise (last minute, everything was sold out) and it was fun but besides that one instance, Disney cruises are too expensive. We can cruise X or Princess or NCL in a suite, have suite perks, drinks/Wi-Fi included and it’s cheaper than oceanview or balconies on DCL. I can put together a really nice 7-day trip to Europe flying premium economy on AA/BA and staying in 4-5 star places for the price of a DCL cruise.

Maybe I’ll take my niece and nephew sometime but while Castaway Cay is nice, DCL is simply too expensive.

Who was Michael cruising with?

A few observations from today's vlog:

1) How creepy is it that the first thing this single man does onboard is check out the kids' clubs?

2) Mike proudly displayed his new swim shirt. Since he never failed to display his pelt before, I'm guessing he's covering up his gut.

3) Jesus he put away a lot of chow!

4) Who is on the cruise with him? He'd obviously like us to think he's alone (aka with "us"), but at the very end you'll notice he has the curtain closed that divides his cabin. I guess he could be avoiding glare from the glass verandah doors (is that a thing?), but I think he's not alone on this trip. Who's behind that curtain and are they sharing his bed?

Would he go out of his way for it?
Definitely not. Along with everything else on this cruise.

We also got Mike's perfect sweet tea recipe on this cruise. It's 2 sweet and low's. I'm pretty sure that isn't the recipe for sweet tea. Since he isn't paying for drinks and is only getting tea and lemonade. Of course he is going hog wild on all of the desserts. I think he wants to be as big Daddy Pig since he saw him last week.

And what adult goes to bed at 10pm on a cruise? Oh wait, man baby does.

He seems absolutely miserable on this cruise.

Haven’t watched yet — but wait, is he pretending in the videos to be alone?! Why??!!!! His cruise vlogs ALWAYS include another person. So which Kay is too embarrassed to be seen with him anymore? Or is it just that he’s too embarrassed to admit that the only person who will cruise with him is his mom? If it’s Dave, he would definitely be vlogging it himself, so... mom? Michelle? A kaykateer?
