I think she most likely failed her test based on being too confident on an overly familiar route. You need to be confident when driving, that's a given, but you also need to remember that, when on test, you can't drive like you would in 'real life'. So, on these familiar routes, she needs to remember that she can't tailgate cars in front like her mum or dad would if they were to drive that route. Going forward, my advice would be to keep extra distance, just to be on the safe side - they can't fail you for being cautious! It must've been a continuous issue throughout her test for them to fail her on it, so it's definitely worth reflecting on her faults rather than blaming them on a picky examiner.

For real though, she did the right thing rebooking her test straight away. Unlike quite a few comments on here, I really hope she passes next time - it'll do her the world of good to have that additional bit of freedom.

Nobody’s saying they don’t want to her to pass, I think we all know it’d be greatly beneficial to both her and Mabel, it’s just whether she’ll be able to put her pride aside and recognise her faults without deflecting the blame onto everybody else

Does Mia even have a petite body type??? She looks the same as me an I wouldn’t say I’m petite at all
No i would say she looks like she’s got a pretty average body type. Thats not a bad thing at all especially after having a baby. Her mum should really teach her to love the skin she’s in before she has more babies to fill the void for a few months until they pass the newborn stage and she gets bored of them

Oh, I agree. As per my previous post, she really needs to reflect on what went wrong. She's immature, but she's only 17 so that's to be expected. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nobody wants to see her fail.

But do her the world of good? I used to think that, but now I highly doubt it. I think once she does pass the chances of her using that freedom for good are low. She’ll spend all her time driving to McDonald’s, picking her sister up from school, and going to shopping centres every weekend in a pandemic. Mabel will get strapped in for the ride but nothing will be centred around her. All the while complaining about how everyone except her is a bad driver. She won’t reflect on anything.

oh and Mabel is petit apparently and takes after Mia’s body type 🥴 give the kid a chance to grow first!

I feel like she's confusing petite and short.. but I'm pretty sure she's 5'4 which does kinda fall in the category for petite clothes usually under 5'4 but if she was actually petite she would've always bought petite jeans but seeing her wearing size 14 or 12 jeans which she never cuffs them.. she also always buys sizes too big I get it she wants them 'oversized' but someone with a petite body type just wouldn't do that.

Where I'm from (Aus) petite sized clothes are usually smaller than a 6. I often buy 'petite' clothes but I still wouldn't consider myself petite, as I am quite tall. How can she say Mabel is petite? It's gross, she's so obsessive about how Mabel fits into smaller aged clothes and how 'thin' her wrists and ankles are, yuck

As a mum I’d be concerned if my baby was as small as Mia boasts about. Especially as Mabel wasn’t born small. My son is 16m and is only just moving to 12-18m. My son was born small and has always been behind (when he was born premie stuff was miles to big for him) and even I’m concerned somtimes that he’s not fitting it. How Mia can find this to be something to gloat about is confusing to me. I hope she gets to have a health visitor check up soon. I do hope mia is right and Mabel just has a small frame (like my son) and not that she is malnourished from...for want of a better word crap meals and hidden bottles.

Literally why isn’t Mia sharing this stuff, and why is Victoria the one doing it? Look how much she’s loving it. I’d much rather she posted stuff like this, even just to her story, I can’t look at Draco Malfoy's face anymore

mabel is very cute of course, but i can’t help but think she always just had the most blank, emotionless stare on her face all the time. like there are no emotions or personality behind her expressions. when she is featured she just stares into the camera always with this blank vacant stare like 👁👄👁 lol. i only say this because it makes me think its because mia stimulates her so little and she gets such little time to learn play and explore the world that it may be affecting her development...

because to her mabel is a fashion accessory and just a source of views money and attention, which is clear from her insta posts. she just uses her as an accessory to make her photos better then bungs her back in a cot to ignore or feed burnt toast without supervision

Because these photos don’t fit in with her aesthetic!! It’s so bad I’d be sharing all mabels nursery photos if I were Mia!

Yeah tailgating a car is illegal. I bet it was a habit she did throughout her test being “too far up people’s arse” as I call it when I’m driving 🤣 sounds like Mia all over, being failed for tailgating because she’s too impatient.

the fact she’s tried to say the instructor was wrong😂 just be like aw well it is what it is , try again! I bet when people ask why she failed she’ll say “ I shouldn’t have failed, i was doing great” instructors don’t fail for nothing! She always has to be negative and make out everyone is out to get her for no reason.... even a qualified instructor! Just accept you’re not perfect like your lick arse 12 year old fans make out you are 🙄

My concern is mia saying I will do a drive with me once passed. in the uk its illegal to drive whilst on the phone. It's also illegal to being doing things that distract whilst driving. Not only that why is she risking not driving the best of her ability with mabel in the car. I'm sorry you dont become a brilliant driver after passing your test you become better with a few years of experience on the road. I remember being told by my instructor after passing my test driving a car is like handling a gun it's got the potential to kill if you are not being careful I have always remembered this.

Sorry but if I see a drive with me video days or weeks after she passes, I’m going to report her! Especially if mabel is in the car before trying to do anything other than focus on your driving and your technique... I’d even go as far as to say try not to drive with your baby in the car for a few weeks just to get some gage with the car properly on your own ..It would be sensible to leave a good few weeks/months getting established in your car... can you imagine pulling a vlogging camera out in your test to chat to it FAIL!!! so why do it just because you’ve passed???? A newly passed driver is not a good driver, no one expects them to be but if she’s passed for any other reason than to get around safely and efficiently then she’s a danger to the road!!! The horror I feel when I think about a fresh out of the testing centre driver, filming and talking to the camera (distracted) with an infant possibly in the back, scares me beyond belief!! We already know she tailgates people, if she glances once at the camera and doesn’t realise how close she is to the driver in front who slams on.... major accident!

i really hoped she’d been mature about the driving but all she can think about is getting passed so she can do a drive with me! I seriously think all vlogging should be illegal in cars! Even those in the passenger and rear seats if directly communicating with the driver as it’s a massive distraction! You see all these you tubers driving and vlogging, Yes they’re hands free but they’re more concerned with topic of conversation they’re having more than being 100% focused on the road and then those that vlog in cars that turn the camera to the driver, the driver instantly is fussing about what the look like as the camera turns on them suddenly! It’s completely unsafe! Unless your phone is on a clip on the dashboard and you’re following a satnav.. all phones/ vlogging equipment should be left switched off ans away from the drivers attention .... especially a newly passed driver!

Think I will report her as well if I see a drive with me just after she passes, you don’t pass and suddenly become an expert on the road. If anything you’re more vulnerable as you’re on your own! When I passed I was soooo nervous for weeks and only drove from home to work! I still panic now if I have to look down for even 1 second. You need eyes in the back of your head when driving and i just know Mia will focus on the camera and not the road. I know other you tubers do it, but they’ve got years of experience behind them! Mia may not value her own life but I cannot sit by and let her put others and Mabel at risk.

what an absolute little sweetheart. she looks thrilled with herself. i'd hope victoria would be doing stuff like this with her but at the same time she has work to do and she must think that mia should take the lead as it's her baby.

Mia asked for advice on Instagram on how to stop Mabel from throwing her food on the floor but

1. Let her be a child, children do throw food and go through different stages. (She might have a reason for throwing the food after all, maybe she isn’t hungry? Maybe she doesn’t like the food? Or maybe she is bored of eating the same thing everyday?)

2. She never takes advice or listens to anyone else anyway so no point answering

3. She basically answered her own question. Underneath she wrote “when I give her single pieces one by one she doesn’t throw the food?”... basically Mia can’t be bothered to sit there feeding Mabel one by one and she just wants to put all the food on her highchair and leave her to eat it herself. She can’t be bothered for the hassle of interaction with her daughter.
