That's 100% it, she didn't want to listen. I failed my test the first time when I was 17 (this was in Australia which is a little different but same principle) and I admittedly was in such a huff that I didn't listen to a word the examiner said. However, a week later once I had calmed down I emailed asking for my report and asked him to give me an overview of what I could've improved on, as well as immediately starting my lessons up again. I have ADHD so my huff was out of frustration more than anything. Mia will probably do the opposite and end up making the same mistakes, maybe even getting minors, on her next test. You need to listen to criticism even when you don't want to, even when it's hard to be self aware and look for faults within yourself, but that's something Mia's victim mentality will never allow her to do
