I will carry on watching though because I really like Walker and Bean as actors!

It was maybe the 70s but the first reality/fly on the wall series was The Family. Marriage reminded me of this. Just people watching. It wasn't meant to entertain in the manner we are used to and expect. What the couple were experiencing and what we were witnessing seemed to be two types of reality.
They would probably declare themselves as having a good, solid marriage. To the watcher it comes across as some kind of prison of tedium, filled with suppressed fear of rocking the boat.
Even that Jamie, filled with brash confidence and arrogance was presenting a very different personality to what he was inside.
It seemed they were all grappling with unresolved grief.
It was definitely different!

Did anyone see what Jamie picked up next to the car when he went to visit the therapist in the last episode? He picks something up, puts it in his pocket and goes in to the therapist.

There lots of strange things really. I still can't get over Sean Bean scratching away at his ballbag in front of his daughter, then his wife dabbing ointment on it. He must've read the script and thought wtf?

After reading all the feedback on here - I decided against watching it
I did look up a few stills of the actor whilst playing Jamie though, and I can see a resemblance to a young Dave Vanian. I didn’t expect the character to be so young though, and was expecting an older version!
