Wow what an hole. That is incredibly disappointing for someone who claims to lift up and support women. I assume Lize was trying to pursue a compelling opportunity. Mia should be pleased and supportive. Gross.

Totally agree.. it looks like all the paid subscriber articles are about why all of them decided to leave their big job titles at mamamia .. clare, holly, mia. Kinda funny

I wouldn’t work at that company even if the salary was x4. It’s seems toxic. The interview was its Liz and Claire was just a suck up fest and shows how insular the company really is. The best podcasts that MM has made were when either Monique or Rachel were head of podcasts. I not a fan of Liz as head of podcasts - it’s all very woo woo (which they even admitted) and way too self indulgent. Over the last three years I have slowly unfollowed most of their podcasts, that I used to religiously listen to the minute they landed. I now know why. They definitely underestimated the skills of Mon and Rachel - they are both geniuses at podcasting. Such a shame.

I mean they both laughed about it, and Mia said she was really glad that Lize left in the end because when she came back she had gained the skills/knowledge she needed to become head of podcasts

There was a piece ion Mia in the SMH a few years back that was not particularly flattering and stated she had very high expectations as a boss and was difficult to work for. Stopped people as soon as they stopped working there. She made a comment a few weeks ago about having to manage her expectations of people working for her. If it’s your own business you’re going to put in a huge amount of effort because you are reaping all the financial benefits and obviously the staff don’t get the same.

doubt he would fit in a photo with jessie and her giant boobs + pregnant (sorry if I spoiled it for anyone, but Jessie is the first pregnant person ever) tummy and Clare with her open muppet mouth
but more seriously and less snarkily - yes interesting

I think she’s trying to distance herself from being in the position she’s in due to sheer nepotism. I wouldn’t be surprised if Luca becomes a stay at home dad when the baby is old enough and Jessie becomes the world’s first working mother

but it was her twin sisters wedding day and he's her partner lol so there should be pics regardless, shouldn't have anything to do with nepotism or Mia or work. I'm just speculating there might be trouble with their relationship haha

Oh no way would Jessie let that relationship die. She'll hold on for dear life.
Was Mia invited to the wedding? I haven't seen a picture of her on the Mamamia group yet. I've seen the photo posted by the twins' mum - can totally see where they get their confidence from
