Don’t they have to approve posts? Maybe one of their MODs is also sick of Jessie’s pregnancy talk in the office tooInterestingly, reading the comments on the post, it seems that a few people do agree with OP

So true! I think it makes women more anxious about these decisions rather than empowering them. My kids are 19 and 12, one conceived via IVF. At times it was tough, but we just got on with it!!Listened to 20 mins of the No Filter today and couldn’t bear anymore. Are women really this anxious about every decision in their lives? Maybe at 40, I am slightly out of the
generation that are facing the motherhood years, but none of my friends are worried about this. Some have partners and have kids, some have partners and have decided to have no kids and some are going it alone through IVF. Occasionally we talk about overpriced childcare and housing affordability, but for the most part we just get on with our lives, all living by different economic means, but making it work. I am about to have my third child and no it will tight financially but I didn’t make the decision because things will be easy, I just wanted another child.
It seems MM now has realigned its brand from empowering women through empowered women to who can be the most anxious, whingy and helpless. What happened to this company??
Sure, I get it’s not easy for everyone. I myself have gone through 10 cycles of IVF to have a family. Maybe it’s just the positioning of the conversation that is troubling rather than the concern itself.I am in the panic years and it’s very real. But when you actually do have real problems around it, hearing Jessie who is engaged and pregnant talk about how hard it is not a completely unhelpful tbh so skip
I also think this is a succession plan for Mia. Jessie will start hosting more of these now and they will spin it as diversity but it’s really a way for a family member to take over the business/hosting roles.duck. Just looked this up and spare me. Jessie Stephens guest hosting? I agree with you @Taylor777. Punching through the things that need to be done to conceive if it’s important to you, rather than complaining, even when it’s hard. Jessie is a snowflake
2009 called, it wants the encircled eyeliner look back. Scrolling back now it seems Jessie is 10 years too late with hair and make up trends. Tbh I can't hate on this hair, I desperately wanted to pull off this style in 2007 but knew I wouldn't look good.
I saw this and immediately thought of this group! The MMOL FB group is awful - just a bunch of suck ups. No one wants her makeup advice.
So true, just makes me think they just jump on trends. The only ones I remember or enjoyed were Monique’s. MMOL is meh and No Filter is pretty unremarkable for interviews.Unrelated but can I tell you what grinds my gears about mamamia? They are like “oh we have 130 podcasts” and they launch so often but when you go to explore, more than half of them aren’t even active anymore!!!
I took a deep dive.
Their book club podcast, last updated April 21, build a human last updated Nov 22 (Leigh sucks so hopefully that one is done), Extraordinary stories last updated May 22. Mamamia “Daily” last updated Dec 22. Theres more but I don’t have it in me, only 1 I could see had an episode or anything announcing it was a final episode.
I don’t know, it just annoys me. Having 130 podcasts that have been neglected and left to die isn’t a flex, they’re the Shein of podcasts.
Why can’t she just have 5 or 10 and do them really well
More podcasts=more advertising=more money. It's all about the money. I barely listen to any of them now, The quality has really dropped too and some of them are poorly researched. I saw someone on here once compare them to a sausage factory pumping out all their podcasts. I still enjoy The Quickly as it doesn't seem like a MM podcast at all, I like What are you wearing and occasionally The Spill but the rest of them I give a wide berth now. I'd much prefer they did 10 podcasts really well than be continually pumping out the crap ones.Unrelated but can I tell you what grinds my gears about mamamia?
