Surely she would speak to her surgeon and see if there’s anything that can be done? Hopefully she went to someone reputable. If they have botched it, she has quite a platform if they wouldn’t do anything to fix it - what if she made a complaint or even spoke publicly about it?

She has said it’s still swollen and she has injections in it (possibly cortisone?). It all sounds very unusual to me, I’ve never heard of healing taking this long. It’s very crooked too
 
I’ve just had an operation to fix crooked sinus/septum (sadly not cosmetic) and the dr said it can take a year to see the full result re swelling so it’s possible for sure. Given her baby’s age though her op must have been longer ago than that.
 
Anyone this to this weeks No Filter? I think it’s become a hate listen for me at this point. This week was a lady that made a whole career over her being rejected by a guy she knew for five minutes. It comes off as super stalkery and Mia is as usual beyond cringe. At one point the lady described the man and what he was wearing and Mia says “for sex??!!” And the lady was like uhhh no we didn’t have sex I don’t think that’s what he had in mind. It’s so off

Totally agree! I have gone off all of their podcasts. It’s weird because I was a religious listener. And I still listen to many of the same non-MM podcasts that I did 2 years ago but just can’t find any energy to listen to almost all MM. It’s really sad because I actually don’t mind the Mia of 2 years ago and was enthused by her drive for women’s content. I really enjoy Holly still but find her having less of a voice in most podcasts now and it’s now overrun with Jessie and anyone like her. It just all feels very insular and icky to me now.

I feel exactly the same!!! It would be the podcast I would look forward to the most... totally overrun by Jessie now and Holly (who I love) doesn't get much of a voice.

Also how are her and her twin producing Mias show?
actual nepotism. there’s plenty of talented experienced actual producers out there.

So very true! I still listen to Cancelled as my guilty pleasure- the twins are funny but most of the time I’m laughing *at* them not with them. They’re such bad researchers and so many concepts go completely over their heads. They’re older than me but not by much- I’m dismayed at the fact they’re producing this show. Will be interesting to see how it turns out to say the least.

They were like the bees knees a few years back
Michelle and Zara worked there I believe and now have their podcast shameless - I gathered that Mia is not a nice person to work for etc etc

I can’t stand listening to most of their podcast

apparently spohice caches is going to be doing a podcast for the soon too
 
I listened to Mia’s interview with Laura Brown and then Ellidy Pullin and I cringed at some of the questions. Mia is such a basic interviewer but I was annoyed to hear her ask Laura the “are you having kids” question! Isn’t this whole women founded company supposed to be asking better questions than that!? Or even acknowledging how far we’ve come in our dialogue that there is no need to constantly just ask women this question. I don’t think Mia actually understands feminism 😆

The other part I found problematic was labelling Ellidy’s experience as “post traumatic growth”. Ellidy lost her partner to drowning 2 years ago. She’s been pretty upfront with how earth shattering it is. To make assumptions about her grief and her journey is just lazy. Unless Ellidy said it herself, better left unsaid. You can tell Mia has lived such a sheltered life.

does anyone follow Natalie Fornasier? She’s an advocate for melanoma and sun protection because of her battle with cancer.
i have been following her story and really love her but noticed she hasn’t posted or been on stories in ages.
does anyone know if she’s ok?

I was wondering the same thing the other day. I really loved following her, and just heard her old interview on Shameless for the first time too, so have been trying to work out if she’s okay since I listened to that
