And Jessie’s spon con feels very cringe. The Ghan and Nivea - on too of writing another booked and working at Mamamia. For a fairly low energy appearing gal, she’s spreading herself rather thin

It’s Mamamia Outloud. It used to be a thought provoking look at current affairs, pop culture and the news from a few different perspectives. Now it’s a bland, snippy informercial.

oops i thought you asked what podcast it was - can you tell I’m catching up on Tattle while lying next to my kid, willing him to sleep? 🙃

I’ve been listening to the old episodes.. when I say old I mean the Monz days (2015/16), when she was joined by Jamila Rizvi, Kate de Brito and Susan Carland. It’s like night and day. I love the ‘chatty’ feeling that you get when podcasters naturally go off on tangents without being edited within an inch of their lives in post production. They also raise some interesting opinions/analysis on the issues of the day.

I wouldn’t say she’s had hate on the internet. Does anyone hate Mia? I feel pretty indifferent towards her. She’s clearly a hard worker and she’s built an impressive empire. I said at the time, I actually enjoyed her ADHD blog (the half that wasn’t behind a pay wall). But the quality of the content has really declined and it’s all click bait and ads.

Happy to put my hand up and say I hate Mia 🤣 it might not be helped by the fact that we seem to have opposite personalities, but she’s always rubbed me the wrong way. So disingenuous and is so judgemental even though she doesn’t think she is. Gives a platform to some horribly problematic people for clicks and $$. The only thing I genuinely applaud her for is amplifying women owned brands with regard to her clothing purchases etc.
