I’ve been listening to the old episodes.. when I say old I mean the Monz days (2015/16), when she was joined by Jamila Rizvi, Kate de Brito and Susan Carland. It’s like night and day. I love the ‘chatty’ feeling that you get when podcasters naturally go off on tangents without being edited within an inch of their lives in post production. They also raise some interesting opinions/analysis on the issues of the day.
I have also done this. The old episodes over a long period of time are very good. Very diverse opinions, thoughtful conversation with not much self amplification. It’s such a shame that the podcast has become so flat, self interested and bland. I just don’t listen to it anymore.

Does anyone listen to No Filter? I don’t know why I do because Mia is the worst interviewer and says a lot of cringe things but the people she interviews are often interesting. But this weeks was with Lauren Brown - former edition of InStyle mag. My god it was the most vapid discussion ever. Mia - what’s it like to have famous friends, how do you become friends with famous people. LB wasn’t much better

I agree, I didn't listen to this episode but I always find her interviews so self-serving or bland. She is just not a good interviewer. She does not ask interesting questions, or help the interviewee open up and get new insights - it's always a shame. Some really interesting guests, but she just doesn't have the skill.

Now apparently Clare’s Instagram stories cobbled together are an ‘article’. Such crappy, lazy content.

I can’t either. They’re very shallow and self serving. I swear she used to be a much better interviewer

I liked Asher Keddie in Offspring, interesting that she’s signed on for this
I think because (and I could be wrong) the production company is Mia’s friend who made nine perfect strangers, that Asher was in. This friend of Mia’s had a production company with Reece W and then split off and started her own production company. Pretty heavy weight production behind it

Mia was friends with her back in the day - interesting that she sparked up the friendship now that she’s a big wig in hollywood
