Will you all shoot me down if I say that Jessie didnt look like like a gorgeous, radiant, bride to be last night and just looked like she does every other day in a dress that looks like shes worn to the office before, everyday jewellery accessories and her hair and makeup just looked the same too? That girl did not look like she wanted to be there at all. It was her engagement party for crying out loud. Is she way too cool to admit shes excited about getting married, is that too generic and too mainstream for her, it must not align with her views. It looked like a work event.

I tend to agree. It’s also telling that she didn’t do a post about it. She has the same makeup every single day, never straying from the very harsh thick black liner.

on another note, why the duck would anyone write this? Even back when I was a baby journo I wouldn’t have put my name on this.

I used to naively think - wow Mamamia and all other clickbaity sites really do manage to hire people who want to/are willing to write stuff like this. After listening to the podcast where Shameless were guests linked further up this thread, I now see that it’s likely that these writers don’t want to be writing stuff like this, and they don’t always want their name attached to the articles.
 
Are the things that Mia talks about on the Sexy 6 gifted/sponsored? I don’t remember seeing any paid content notices.
 
Agree! I have noticed that many recommendations are not good and then I listen back and realise it’s either paid content, advertorials or a lot of the time linked to an upcoming paid campaign that has not yet launched. On youbeauty last week that recommended a fragrance - I tried it and it was awful. Both LC and Kelly gushed over it and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a campaign they support in the next month. I can’t take their recommendations seriously anymore.

Agree. MCo skin and makeup products suck (except the mascara) everyone knows it but Leigh bangs on about it on the podcast because she's paid too (along with every other brand) she's lost so much credibility and everyone knows it

Courtney Mangan has used a lot of their stuff and compared it to her other make up. Like does half a face of each and is totally honest about them!

She reminds me of one of those basset hound hooches with that droopy face. Stop bragging about being no-bo, do a skin tightening treatment, just do something. God knows you flog enough beauty product!

Yep.. I couldn't believe what I was listening to when I heard that podcast. 'find dead baby stories to drive up the clicks.' just awful! The Shameless girls don't ever give too much away about their time there, but they did in that interview.

And I'm sick of her feminist BS. I don't know how her husband puts up with it. He mustn't have any balls.
