I’m not. The group was labelled as members being included because they are Jewish, not Zionist. Therefore commentary made towards its members is on the basis of them being Jewish, not Zionist.

They could've even put in 3 completely different hosts for 2 weeks to mix things up, but they're probably scared they'd be more popular

I’m sick and tired of seeing Zionists weaponising the term Antisemitism when they are faced with any sort of criticism that is levelled at their violent, supremacist political ideology and has nothing to do with criticism of the religion they subscribe to. Mia runs a media company. Niche lobbyists (not just these ones, who happen to be Jewish ) control far too much of the media and political agenda. The ABC are hardly going to name the individuals involved, if they had enough power and influence to compel them to sack a journalist.

My subscription ended and I’m not renewing.

It’s terrible value for money. All you get is two 15 minute segments on rubbish per week. They can’t be bothered doing it and the lack of interest shows. They’ve just given themselves something like five weeks off anyway, why would I bother paying them any more.

Agree. I have cancelled as well. There are so many great podcasts to give your money to, why would I give it to this lack lustre company?

Also, Mia runs a company that is supposed to 'make the world a better for place for girls and women.' So... If she was in this group that had this woman journalist sacked (especially when Mia is so vocal about how women in the media are treated) then she should be ashamed.

Thought I would listen to the first ep of 2024 (1 month in), and what a waste of time. Long intro about their breaks (who cares!) and then into 3 way too light topics about nothing. Nobody cares about the Barbie Oscar’s snub, about some non sexist event at the tennis, drink bottles(!!!) and of course Mia favourite topic Taylor Swift. The AI discussion was the closest to an actual topic that women are talking about. It’s really just boring now. Surely their ratings must be dropping.

Their reviews on Apple Podcasts recently have been atrocious. Even if they won’t take on any of the feedback regarding their silence surrounding the genocide, surely the feedback about the show becoming ‘Keeping up with the Lavignes’ would spark something.

Instead Mia and Jessie treated themselves to a month-long holiday and came back to bore poor Holly and the listeners about it.

I really hope this is the year that Holly bails from the sinking ship that is Mamamia. Maybe she’s waiting for a payout?
