I'm curious as to what direction the show will take next year as this past couple of series has to be the most boring it's ever been. It's clearly still got healthy viewing figures, but it's just dull as arse compared to the earlier series. Bar some minor dramatic happenings (mainly in the form of fall-outs and a couple of bombshells), there's been nothing compelling or memorable about it whatsoever in the last few months. With the exception maybe of Miles getting royally pied by Maeva and Tik Tok-gate. The OG stalwarts of the show, who have really been the glue holding it together (Fred, Sophie, Mark-Francis, Victoria), have been quietly bowing out, while Ollie, who was once a huge character and presence on the show has become insufferably dull and bitchy and has completely lost his pizzazz.

As much as I hate to say it, Maeva does carry the show a lot and now she's got other priorities, I can't see her sticking around or having any other storyline than one that revolves around her baby (as happened with Victoria). Even Miles said he'll be leaving the show soon because he's fed up of it. It feels like a lot of the storylines are rehashed variations of the same old drivel e.g. Emily banging on about herself and how terrible Harvey is, Miles sleeping with a woman then making her his "bestie" after sacking her off, Ollie's unsuccessful IVF attempts, Melissa and Ruby meddling and stirring at their witch's coven, and a new slew of random, uninteresting Instagram influencers who hail from well-to-do backgrounds briefly appearing on the show for a few episodes in a bid to prop their social media following. It's just all so predictable and 🥱

I'll leave it there as I've no doubt JulianC, who has no personal affiliation or connection whatsover with the show, will once again get deeply and irrationally offended by my general comments about the show going downhill 😂

He's been going on about her wanting to get a dog for ages, and how reluctant he was to do so. I swear the subject came up on Private Parts at least two years ago. That was extremely short-lived😅Poor pup!

Maeva made sure James was audible in her story tapping on the window to say hi to Beau. So it was a short trip I guess. It's good hes back with her for NYE.

Nicholas and Ruby made it into the daily mail online so maybe his goal is coming into fruition lol. We could see him in season 25 yet.

Although why did he go back to Maeva, and not his one month old baby whose been without either of his parents for at least the 3rd night in a row?
