Okay, this is odd. I'm no childcare expert or mother but leaving your newborn with your mother to spend time with your Covid-stricken partner when you're Covid-free is outrageous. Though I can imagine Maeva pulling the "you left me all on my own at home Jams. I need someone to look after me blah blah" and other guilt-tripping b/s. The poor baby must be so confused.
 
Can’t say I agree with them offloading the baby this early in the name of “protecting it from covid” come on…be the like of us and care for your baby when you’re sick. I had covid with a newborn, yes it was unfortunate, yes we were all sick, but babies get sick…it’s part of life. I’m sorry but they wanted a week off (hey we all do eventually, but this early)?

Chelsea, like most areas in London, has a wealthy area right beside a poorer one, e.g. the Worlds End estate. Being from Chelsea doesn’t really mean much at all, it definitely isn’t an indicator of “poshness” whatever “posh” means.

Chelsea being considered posh is a very recent phenomenon. In victorian London it was a bit of a slum area, and was seen as an unfashionable district, so it started to attract bohemian literary types. In the 60s it was considered pretty counter culture with Mick Jagger living in a flat there, and Viv Westwood (RIP) opening her SEX boutique on Kings road. It was hippyish, but not posh.

It wasn’t considered posh until ~the 80s when the aristocracy/Gentry started buying the comparatively cheaper flats in Chelsea for their offspring, which wouldn’t be too far from the family homes in South Kensington and Mayfair.

Maybe 50 years from now Chelsea will be a slum again and people will be baffled that it was ever deemed posh.

Just been on Instagram to look and I think she definitely is. I haven’t been on social media for a few weeks and in all her Xmas pics she’s noticeably fuller in the face and her clothes are all baggier. I’m super pleased for her, I used to really dislike her but she doesn’t irritate me at all these days, I think she’s in a better place than when she was with Sam.

Yes absolutely agree I think she seems really settled and I would be really pleased for her if she is.

i definitely think so, her face is much puffier and she looks bigger and has been wearing baggy clothes

Architecturally, it's a beautiful area, but massively overhyped IMO. A lot of the flats and houses there have a soullessness about them and Kings road nowadays is saturated with boring chain shops and eateries. There's also zero green space. Why anyone wealthy would choose to live in Chelsea is beyond me. I guess it's for the reputational kudos and posh prep schools. Richmond and Hampstead are infinitely nicer areas with much more life about them. Also, does anyone on the show, bar Ollie, actually live in Chelsea? The majority of them seem to reside in Parsons Green or Battersea.

He also lied and said he was previously hacked and had to make a new account hence the low amount of followers (compared to Ruby). When you click on a public instagram’s username it shows you when the account was created. Ha, you’re not fooling anyone Nicholas.

You can just tell he lovebombs the shit out of Ruby and feeds her lie after lie.

Tbf to him, he probably saw the MiC episode where Ruby mocked Sarrah's 8K Instagram followers and got all self-conscious.

I disagree strongly, I think Maeva was doing what she thought was best, she was trying to protect her baby from catching covid, think she's been sensible tbh

I didn't notice it myself until someone on this thread also mentioned that the bridge of his nose was looking weird, and there was speculation that he's had nose filler. I don't know if the HD is exaggerating it a bit😅He needs to leave his face alone! He's got naturally plump skin and really doesn't need fillers.
