I did think James and Maeva came across well in that Bonjour Baby epsiode but I think James has fucked off skiing when his baby is only a few weeks old and Maeva has tested positive for covid so has dumped the baby with her mother in law to keep him safe? When there is zero evidence that covid is a risk to newborns. So how long is this newborn baby going to be away from both his parents for? He’s not even a month old.

I’m not sure when he went, it was only yesterday he posted a couple of pics on a ski lift. I had wondered if they had all gone to France but clearly Maeva and Beau are still in the UK! Interesting she doesn’t even mention where James is, just says she’s alone and Beau is with her MIL.

I just don’t understand why he would go now? It’s only the start of the ski season so if he really couldn’t miss a year why not go in March or April when Beau is at least 4-5 months old instead of 4 weeks.

That’s disappointing tbh. I’d be absolutely livid if my bf went skiing when our newborn baby was one month old
 
Yeah I saw that James was on a ski trip in his stories. I thought it was awfully early for babies first trip if he hasn't even got his first jabs. To find out he's left his brand new family less than a month in, it looks shitty. Can his fiancée, who is less than 6 weeks post C-Section, even lift things around the house, even if the baby is not around? What if the Covid makes her too ill to go to the cornershop? Looks really selfish. I thought he'd be more doting.

I mean Zara wasn't even good enough for that lot. Remember Melissa's comments? So I bet they're ripping him to shreds.
Side note: remember love island Charlie who dated then cheated on Verity. He went on Chelsea with a contrived 'chav' aesthetic. In real life, he's well heeled so I guess he made the cut.
Maybe this Nicholas has changed but comes across a bit thirsty. Dating someone with a kid is enough to put me off as someone in my 20s but I'm admittedly in my selfish era.
 
Did anyone see Habbs’ story about Jamie being allergic to their puppy - it’s made his asthma flare up badly - so they’re going to the doctors. Gets my goat, surely you would do some research before getting a dog if you suffered with asthma? I hope they don’t get rid of the puppy but not sure what the alternative is - Jamie being on medication constantly so they can have a pet?

He'll get used to it. I got a cat knowing I was allergic (mouse catcher) the first week I had hives all over me, coulndt breath, wanted to scratch my eyes out of my skull. It gradually got better and now I hardly have any allergies. It like overloads you and stops the allergic reaction.

Although I did have the sense to get a hypoallergenic dog, not sure why they didn't. And it's a sausage dog isn't it, arnt they on the list that vets want banned for health issues.

Was maeva late delivering.

I was over two weeks late with my daughter. So I could see that he booked the holiday thinking low risk delivery, she'll be 6 weeks past due date, no problem to go away for a week. Not realising the baby would be late and she would need a c section.

Maybe she's got a nanny in to help her.

I don't think it's that bigger deal. But my dad did shit like that all the time and I wouldn't care if my partner did, I don't feel like I need a man.

Think is she’s had a C section, she needs help doing stuff, yes some women might not feel like they need a man but she needs someone to help her, she can’t lift for a certain amount of time etc….. he should have just coped the loss of holiday money, even 6 weeks after, that’s a tough time for a new born

Maybe his mum was supposed to be there. I know a few single mums that had c sections. There's not always a man around. He might have said he'd cancel and she said no it's cool go.

I just woulndt demonise the guy, it's just not that bigger deal to some people.
 
It looks like previous ski trips he’s gone away with his brother and dad. Maybe his mum was going to help Maeva. Problem is Maeva now has covid and has dumped the baby on the MIL for god knows how long. What about the poor baby in all of this? The baby will be ‘safe’ I’m sure but how distressed could he be? He’s 4 weeks old.

Maeva isn’t even bed bound sick with covid. She’s sent him away under some stupid excuse that she’s keeping him safe from covid. She went on to say how she would be getting her hair done once she tests negative - is that when she will get her baby back too? When she tests negative? Could be 7-14 days away!
