His Mum was on Big Brother and she was reported as being a dominatrix and owner of an escort agency but the daily Mail seem to have retracted that or said she denies the claims.

I remember watching that show. It was dangerous dog and proud or somthing like that.

How are him a Ruby together. How do they even know each other. He's clearly her bit of rough. Bet her family love him šŸ˜‚
 
Oh wow, some absolute bombshells here re Ruby's new bloke. The "we come as a package deal" line is the pathetic, juvenile and hilarious, but simultaneously very creepy and unnerving. Who the hell talks like that about their partner? The guy is a clear fame-chaser and couldn't be less "Chelsea" if he tried. "I was born in Chelsea and Westminster hospital"...and what? So was my sibling and how many thousands of othersšŸ˜‚

Also, this could be completely unrelated but it got me thinking...Earlier this year, my ex flatmate, a police officer, said he pulled over a speeding car in Notting Hill/White City way, and said the bloke behind the wheel asked him - completely out of nowhere - "Do you watch Made in Chelsea?". My flatmate said he watched it on and off and asked why he wanted to know. The bloke then said "my half-sister/stepsister (can't remember exactly which) is on the show. Her name's Ruby". This struck my flatmate as very weird a) because this bloke just very randomly brought the topic up, completely off the cuff, like he was trying to brag and impress him, and b) the guy was mixed race and looked nothing like Ruby. Also, we did a bit of digging and Ruby doesn't even have a half/step-brother, just one full brother, who definitely wasn't the guy my former flatmate spoke to.

Reading these past few posts about this Nicholas guy, it does make me wonder if he was this bloke driving the car, especially in terms of how my ex flatmate described him. He's clearly fame-hungry AF and the fact the driver even brought up Ruby to a complete stranger is just peculiar.

Also, this Nicholas has known Ruby 8 years...maybe they jokingly regarded eachother as brother/sister due to their close bond? All very bizarre!
 
Just watched his stories. So many of the questions are really twatty. Basically "are you black and poor" but in a round about way.

But, he comes off as thirsty. Clearly he's aiming for fame and Ruby is the way to get it. He also keeps talking about her drive and ambition. She was a model, then doses about on MIC because she was the girlfriend of Sam T mate. She now does nothing. It seems a bit disingenuous and a bit lovey bombey. Or this is a showmance.

Oh purleazešŸ˜‚šŸ¤£The only thing she's ambitious about is taking elevator selfies while garbed in grotesque polyester dresses with gaping cut-outs, and spreading malicious gossip about other women. Oh wow what an interesting/wild read. Was not expecting his dad to be basically gentry and his mum a dominatrix!! What a tragic way for his dad to die though. I agree with @Brigitjonesbuttcheek - some of the questions were microaggressive and he answered so many of them instead of ignoring them which makes me think they went over his head (or maybe he just doesnā€™t care). I already kinda feel bad for him because people are already saying heā€™s not good enough for Ruby but then I remember he beat his dog and probably isnā€™t the best character if heā€™s involved in gangs and shit. Plus anyone who thinks Ruby Adler is a great person is probably just as bad. Sheā€™s a nasty piece of work. My mind is blown by the whole thing itā€™s just so random and keeps getting worse!

He's clearly a twatt. But it's wrong to frame it to be because of his race and social status, which many of the questions seemed to be saying.

The real telling ones for me were about, what would you say to your 18 yr old self and did you think you'd be here 10 years ago. He gave no indication of his prior life. You'd expect regret and, tell myself not to get involved with gangs or something. So he's still the same dog baiting, knife fighting reprobate. He's a wrongun because of his behaviour, race, class and where he was born are nothing to do with it.

I wouldn't ask him his heritage. I'd ask if he's still got that agreassive dog that he bates then walks off lead endangering the wider public.

A lot of the Q&As were really dickish and microaggresive basically telling him he's not of 'good stock'. Ironically through his Eton-educated dad, his lineage would be very wealthy land owners. So he's pretty 'Chelsea' compared to most of the new-money cast who are born in commuter towns and countrysides. It looks like his dad's drug problems would have diminished any liquid cash though. Information about his parents is pretty readily available online so that kind of sucks if he doesn't want people to know. The dog thing is messed up though.

If Ruby has known him for 8 years and all this is info is a click away...she's done her background checks. She's not learning anything new. Since Reza essentially robbed her youth she's probably had little chance to do the 'bad boy' thing or whatever.

I watched the Bonjour Baby special.
It was nice to see Maeva and James in a softer light and more couple-y. They are usually just fighting people on the main show šŸ˜‚. Overlooking their shady sides, it was cute.
Maeva is so funny and is TV gold! Their interaction with the antenatal specialist is a giggle.
Wishing Maeva, James and Beau the best.
 
As little as I rate the show's producers and their casting choices, I can't see them letting Ruby's boyf on this show once they've done all their background checks. The shitstorm of bad publicity he would attract would be a reputational hazard, and this questionable past of his isn't exactly the opulent image of Chelsea they strive to peddle.

He is the MIC producerā€™s worst nightmare. Heā€™s so unaware that just because he was born in Chelsea, doesnā€™t make him part of the high society posh Chelsea folk that MIC was once known for (although with the new cast and recent series, that has looong gone). This isnā€™t about race, this is about his behaviour and the way he portrays himself. He is a chav through and through. Although i always thought Ruby came across as a chav as well, so maybe they are suited.

But imagine your potential mother in law being a dominatrix prostitute šŸ«£

Yeah he may have been born in Chelsea, but the shows intention is not to follow the lives of gang members and their illegal dogs and knife fighting.

The Q&A actually gave him the opportunity to show remorse and distance himself from his (I assume) past. But he didn't even acknowledge it when asked. So either he hasn't changed or he thinks people are dumb and won't look up his background even though he's covered in knife wounds and glorified his criminal life on a channel 5 show.

There was something about a song too in the q&a. Do they think they're gonna be Prof Green and Millie šŸ˜‚
