I feel like Millie thought of him as a novelty. He seems happier without her.

Tbh she seemed a nightmare later in their marriage and still seems vacuous from her thread on her. Does anything to not have to spend time with her daughters. Takes a billion vacations to 'refresh' from doing what, I will never know.

There's a thread about her? Will it fry my brain?👀I quite liked Millie on MiC. She was always one of the more real, level-headed and mature ones of the OG girls. I was quite impressed by how she took on Victoria for being a bitch. Quite a brave feat! I never really got why her marriage to Professor Green broke down. I got the impression that she was fed up with his partying and constant nights out, and not being able to get hold of him? Alongside him feeling inadequate and not fitting into her social circle/milieu.

I'm shocked to see recent photos of Millie. What on earth has she done to her face? She's naturally very pretty and didn't need any cosmetic work.

While we're on the subject, did anyone have a weird "slightly-fancied Huge Taylor" phase? Asking for a friend...

I did! Just slightly fancied him too. I always wonder what happened between him and his ex Natalie Joel, thought he was besotted with her. I was shocked when he reconciled with Millie tbh, it didn’t end well as we know!

I saw Millie in Zara once, before she botched her face. She looked exactly like she did on TV, great skin.
 
I feel like the likes of Ruby are so used to having girls just take their shit and pander to them that that’s why Inga riles them so much. I’m not her biggest fan but she has been vilified from left right and centre since she came on the show so I can understand why she bites back the way she does.

I'm quite surprised at this. I love Millie and she seems to be quite a hands on mum. Her and pro green seemed an 'opposites attract' couple. They did seem very much in love. He has a range of issues that I imagine he struggled with in their marriage and she didn't want to do it anymore

Don't get me wrong l liked Millie on MIC for the most part too (I especially loved it when she told Louise about herself because someone had to lol) but I also have some unpopular opinions during my rewatch. I think she played purposely dumb a lot and I sort of hate how she did that silly cutesy voice so much.

I don't think she was such a victim in the whole Rosie and Hugo situation either. Especially in the earlier storylines when she felt Rosie might have liked him and was fairly certain getting that info confirmed from both Caggie and Spencer but they said Rosie was just too shy to voice it so Millie used that as her go ahead.

I don't see her and Hugo as a strong couple during those seasons either when Hugo waited for Rosie to reject him before deciding to go for Millie for good.

Then with the whole cheating thing, I understand why Millie was pissed at Rosie but I sort of see how Rosie became frosty/resentful. Rosie never once threw Hugo under the bus and said what really happened when she should have. Which as Spencer said is that they kissed and if Rosie hadn't stopped it/said it was wrong for them to do then Hugo would have slept with her. And Hugo freely admits this.

Hugo just kind of got away with it all because he is the guy. And knowing the truth and that everyone was shitting on Rosie and judging her he decides to take her on a vacation to cheer her up and at numerous times says he doesn't care how Millie might take it or consider how upset/isolated from the group she was feeling.

I have always found Hugo and Millie's relationship odd. His total disregard for her feelings/never really admitting how everything actually went down until Spencer of all people told him it wasn't right to let Rosie take most of the blame says something. He was foul for that but because he wasn't Spencer levels his edit looked good in comparison. I also didn't like how Millie had to be the one to reach out to him and say let bygones be bygones just to not feel isolated or awkward in group settings anymore and again he gets to look like a gracious and good guy accepting the overtures of friendship.

if you get to read the thread on Tattle life about her than you will see she's anything but a hands on mom😂😂😂. The tattlers there mentioned that she in fact has two nannies looking after her kids ! Don't know where or how do they get this info but I won't be surprised !

but hands-on mom or not, I do like Millie in MIC. She was really pretty with minimal makeup back then and she's also quite feisty. She really has this posh chelsea vibes which the new cast of the recent series lack

Yes, she was of a completely different pedigree to a lot of the current MiC girls, as was Caggie. Both very classy. It wasn't all about chasing social media clout and tacky sponsored posts, plus endless surgically-enhanced pics of them pouting in garish bikinis and hideous cut-out dresses back then. Of the current lot, I think Liv is very classy, and Inga has her own style/vibe that doesn't conform to the tacky "new-chav" vibe that a lot of the female cast endorse. Yaz also carries herself well, but I find her friendship with Miles quite weird and like he's gaining more from it than her. I feel like he's reeled her in to his harem of female "besties" and cockblocking/meddling in her love life after discarding her romantically.

Lol…sorry but Liv is definitely not classy. Having a posh accent doesn’t automatically make you classy. Her personality is also quite masculine.

I'll admit i wasn't previously a big fan of Liv's, based on how she treated Digby and Inga in previous series. But it feels like she's matured a lot recently and rises above the petty behaviour of other cast members (e.g. trying to keep the peace and make amends with Maeva, in spite of how nasty she is towards her and Tristan). She can be stubborn as fuck but does ultimately try her best to extend an olive branch and repair broken friendships. I'm also thinking in terms of her dress sense. She can actually dress well and with a modicum of style, unlike a lot of the other girls who seem to buy their entire wardrobes from Pretty Little Thing😅

I haven’t watched this series but from previous series she’s always struck me as an “ I’m not like the other girls, I’m one of the boys and call them by their last names cos I’m edgy” pick me types.

She seems like the type of person you would HATE to get on the wrong side of, as she’d
probably make your life hell and turn everyone against you. I just get bully vibes from her.
