I'm so sorry M&S. I will never, ever cheat on your Christmas sandwiches again. I grabbed a Sainsbury's one. 3/10 would not recommend 🥲. I am gutted. I should have just gone to M&S View attachment 3303584 q
M&S are the best supermarket sandwiches. Even Waitrose are a poor comparison

Has anyone tried the new M&S prawn roll with lemon mayo? Looks good but quite pricey. I adore their regular prawn mayo sandwich. Impossible to recreate at home and I’ve tried….

I got it on a yellow sticker a little while ago and it was lovely! It is pricey for what it is, but I would probably pay full price for it if I were to get it again (I've gone to pick it up a couple of times but always end up going back to my favourite, the plant kitchen no salt beef pretzel roll 😍)

Haven't had a Xmas sandwich yet but I did try a couple of Xmas things that were reduced to mixed thoughts. I quite enjoyed the Trifle Overnight Oats which is odd cos i am not really a trifle or custard fan. But the Turkey, Bacon and Cranberry sausage roll can get in the bin.. really tasteless crumbly pastry in an odd layout where if you bite it some bites are just pastry and then it falls off so its not covering the sausage and zero trace of cranberry. No way are they worth over £3 normal price

.......I really liked that roll 😆😆

I tried it this afternoon. It was nice but I didn’t detect much lemon and I feel the prawns slightly underseasoned. The bread nice and soft with lots of flavour

This looks epic! Might have to search it out tomorrow!

See that’s the thing, some get no treat, some get grapes, then some get a whole cake. They are so inconsistent.

It’s the same with the offers. We thought they’d been tit for weeks because of the advent but they’ve just been tit for weeks. Fish, coated fish, cleaning products but some get clothing.

We are from all kinds of jobs yet know whoever is in this marketing role is doing a rubbish job. Personally, their sm is tit on the style aspect so they need to re-haul that and spend on personalised deals. Everyone from sainsbos to boots know that’s where the money is. Not some Gen z trying on a yet another haul of sequinned stuff in their bland apartment.
I messaged them on Instagram to ask if a product would be in stock again this Christmas. Ignored.

I’ve just seen some turkey lasagne thing on Instagram. In theory that sounds nice, but a comment says it has too much sage in (🤢).

Quite a few people said they went in looking and the staff had no idea what they were talking about. Par for the course then.

I think I might defect today and do a Waitrose order. We’ve had a tit couple of weeks, this weekend is full of house viewings ( in tit weather) and Ocado just isn’t hitting the spot.

I had that chicken bbq version a while back on yellow. I wouldn’t pay full price for it though.

Saw both the piggy mac and cheese and the turkey lasagne, can't remember the price of the mac and cheese but remember thinking it was steep.
Got the Xmas sourdough, as good as I remember.
Plenty of yellows, got 2 x Best ever Tikka and a caramelised bun pudding on yellows plus the mini Chicken arrabiatta pizza and the Xmas parsnips (Dad has been hounding me to keep a lookout, think he had the whole tray for dinner last night)
Haven't seen the chorizo piggies yet, I really hope they haven't discontinued them.

My local store was bursting with yellow stickers this morning ❤ The big packs of cauliflower cheese and parsnips were all half price so I got some for the freezer, some curries, Yorkshire puds, all the things the we use regularly. No gingerbread cookies 😞 but I was happy with my little (big) yellow sticker haul. Got a turkey feast for good measure. My freezer is now bursting .
Edit- just to add I got a couple of bags of mini whips, when did they go up to £3?!

Remember shopping hear with my late mum when we had a trip into town. Haven’t been in there for ages but looks like it’s going to be smaller after the re build.

Would love to know how many gingerbread and white chocolate cookies and free clothes Angie accepted to overturn that decision :ROFLMAO:

It's been a "no" from everyone for years.
