It’s bloody awful. It’s on the wonk along the top for starters. I can’t believe any self respecting professional decorator wouldn’t have tried to talk them out of having that choice of wallpaper.

That’s what you get when you go cheap and half job! Find a decent builder and employ the services of a professional interior designer. It’s cost effective in the long run. But she does think she’s a know it all

From that angle it looks okay’ish. I got a sample of that paper thought it was awful and then went to someone’s house with it and it’s fake and nasty looking so perfect for her then

I think you’d have to have really perfect, straight walls for it to lie right with it being a geometric/square type pattern. If the walls are out, even by just a few millimetres, it will ruin the whole look. It’s a big mistake. Surely it will keep Mrs OCD awake at night?

ETA - and what’s this obsession the huns all seem to have with panelling in their bedrooms all of a sudden???

Surely that's the first rule of decorating, never choose a wallpaper that has a design that needs lining up exactly if you have walls that are not perfectly straight.

I do undies with usual washing too. I’d never heard of washing underwear separately before!

Unless she means not putting footwear in with clothes? I wouldn’t put trainers in with anything else. I’ve never washed slippers before, but I’d probably put them inside a laundry bag or pillowcase and chuck them in with some towels She’s a funny one.
