Just catching up... wtf! I had a suspicious mole/lesion on my back, my GP phoned me straight away as I had done an e-consult first. He fitted me in that very afternoon, and referred me under the 2 week rule. Had an appointment to see dermatology within those 2 weeks. She didn't think it was anything to worry about, but wanted to remove it. Further appointment a few weeks later, mole thing removed. Received the results a few weeks later - all fine! So within 10 weeks I was seen by GP, dermatologist, mole removed and results - this was with the NHS! So either she is a Billy bullshitter and just wanted to flaunt her wealth or her GP is tit (the NHS has its faults, I fully aware that this can happen) but 14 weeks?!
The experience my mum had was the same. I had been telling her to get something checked out on her face for a while and then covid hit. She eventually saw her GP (she has regular check ups for other issues) and was referred for the thing on her face but also something on her back. The mark on her back was removed and tested and all was OK really quickly. The removal on her fave which was a BCC took longer to be removed as they did mohs surgery due to the location but all was done in eight tk twelve weeks from memory.
