Didn’t Laura have a baby not long before the show too? They only ever bring the host in for major twists and dumpings so we’ll probably see more of her just before Casa Amor.

Chloe's not daft. By picking Hugo she's formed a friendship coupling which guarantees her getting picked by him at every coupling until someone she actually fancies shows up. Friendship couplings are always popular with the public. I still don't like her voice.

Exactly you would think a year and a half in this panini would have people gagging for the other sex but nopeWhat's the point of putting 2 black girls in the house if they are only casting men who prefer blonde girls? Yet, even the blonde girls are struggling ironicallyyet they think having black girls is a good idea? This is some fake diversity act by the show.
But overall, it seems like this year, no one is really anyone's type. Hence why all the couples lack chemistry. No one seems to be really into eahcother. The casting is a shambles.
Maybe the most convincing is Sharon and Aaron , but even they look like they're forcing it. I'm not convinced by their coupling
And yeah I don't like the fact Rachel and Kaz are there when the men don't like black girls. People are trying to force it with Brad as he said "dark skin, dark hair" but as someone who's tasted all the rainbow of men I know 100000% he means Mediterranean/tanned

Rachel is genuinely beautiful though. I don’t really believe that a large amount of people are ultra specific about “types”. I think that’s a conversation prompt they are given to create TV drama.

I have been actually told if I wasn't black, men would date me, by men....multiple times which is just sick.

I’m definitely someone who faces tend to grow on, I almost never find people spectacularly hot when I first see them haha. My friends will quite often talk about how hot someone is and it always takes me a few weeks to see it

My point isn’t about race. It’s obvious that black women face issues that women of other races don’t face. My point is simply that someone saying “my type is XYZ” doesn’t mean that they won’t find another person attractive.
I understand you’re speaking from your perspective and I completely accept all that you say, but my point is simply that the whole “my type on paper” thing is really exaggerated. Someone can say they like blonde hair and blue eyes but still find a black woman attractive.

I do agree about the types. I don't think everyone has a type, none of my boyfriends have looked the same, or even remotely similar. I don't look like any of my partner's ex's either. Some people have a type ofcourse, or at least a subconscious bias, but I don't think it's a stretch to believe/accept others just judge it on a person by person basis. Especially once personality kicks in. Equally though I fully accept that the show does have a history of less interest being shown to darker skinned girls, which is bollocks. IMO Rachel and Kaz are by far the prettiest girls this year.

You're not the first black girl I've heard say men use you as a fetish, can you elaborate? I've heard men say they like certain races but I don't think it is a fetish thing, they just find those features/skin tones attractive.
On the note of Kaz and Rachel, I think the last 3 seasons have had one black girl in each season, usually 1 of the starting 5 girls. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this may be the first season where they have brought a second black girl in, also correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall any black girls in love island before samira in season 4. Love island is trying to appear more diverse but it doesn't seem genuine when love island has 40 contestants in a whole season and the majority of girls are white.
I don't recall many asain contestants either, there was Kaz (Josh and Kaz season 4) who was half Thai but I think that might be it.

I have to be honest, but I'm loving the strong women this year. Faye is cunningly good - she wiped the floor with Brad. The black lady is both stunning but lovely with it - although she's paired with a wetwipe!
As for Sharon. Wow. Love her attitude!

Hot Asian girls or more specially Indian/Pakistani girls are generally unlikely to do the show due to the cultural stigma attached to something like this. Shannon was half Indian and Punjabi I think but her parents seem accepting of her career choices (think I read her Dad was a stripper!). As an Indian girl I kind of relate to the above comments about dating black women, bit of a novelty and niche 
. Also if I guy is so specific about his “type” petite blondes he’s certainly not going to be up for dating a non white girl. Rachel just being set up for a fall here in having to save one of these guys.
