Did they mention tonight if it was 8 or 10 weeks?
Originally it was 10 but another poster said Iain said on the ITV HUB or whatever its called that is was 8 weeks.

i'd say she might get a higher per episode / week fee than everyone else at a push as some sort of 'compensation' for press coverage but i doubt they're able to promise final places bc of competition law (same could be said for tasha and her positive press for being deaf or luca and his famous influencer exes). cash prize and application / scouting process means everyone gets as fair a shot as possible depending on how easily audiences are swayed by editing. i'm not saying michael owen won't buy a ton of phones to get more app votes but that's his doing

I doubt places in the final can be guaranteed also, it's the type of thing that gets companies into serious tit when it gets found out, and it always gets found out.

Also, is casa amor definitely no happening this year? Worst idea ever, that's my favourite bit.
 
Hiiiii, new here, my opinions so far

- I actually dont mind Davide? I think the things he comes out with is actually funny sometimes... maybe people are taking what he says too seriously? If you went through life with people gushing at how gorgeous your are, you're obviously going to acknowledge it, cos it's like okay what else can people say about me? I think that's what he meant at the fire pit, that Ekin-Se supposedly see's this other side to him and isn't just obsessed with his looks only, but I personally think she wants the D and that's it lmao but regardless I acc think he's decent, he was the first one to go hug Afia when everyone was going to Paige after they were both left single, idk I think hes actually alright?
- Luca is a flippy fish himself, I just don't see him sticking to one girl, if he makes it to casa amour, I think he will come back with someone else, idk Im not getting good vibes, and I feel sorry for paige, even though its early days, I can tell she really liked him :(
- Paige is a sweetheart and I really believe someones gonna come in and sweep her off her feet!!! I think she's doing a good job of hanging in there but what the duck are these guys blind or something im so confused? I really thought davide would go for her you know!!!!
- Liam was great in unseen bits shame he's gone!
- Ekin-Su's vibe is nice, she seems a lot different than what though't shed be, and her ideas about life are really nice, but she was doing too much and I think it's put some of the guys off, I don't think Davide is into girls that do too much for attention, makes sense why he's with little miss serious (gemma), but I also don't see that much of an issue with the age gap because he is treating her like he would any other woman of another age, as long as there isn't a power imbalance - I was actually surprised that she was 19 and not older? This is deffo an unpopular opinion tho, but to me he seems harmless
- I feel like Gemma is self-conscious about what she does and how she behaves since it's all being recorded and she doesn't want to defame her family name, but also I feel she can be too straight up, she has no warmth with her words and Im not sure if some of the things she's saying is a joke/dry humour, or if she's trying to make up for her being so young by adopting a patronising persona? I have no idea, or maybe she thinks she knows it all and tbh that's not unlikely at her age
- Amber is great, good vibes, I really like her and dami but I feel like she's just going along with it because he's the only one who's shown interest... but things might slowly blossom into something she wants to keep i hope!!
- Dami is one of the best guys in there, he seems really sweet and understanding, and he's actually got banter, gives such a breath of fresh air
- Indiyaaahhhhh IS GORGEOUSSS!!! She needs more screen time like wtf? Its not fair like im sick of gemma this tasha that
- What is ikenna playing at, about one of the boys!!! But I feel like he's actually trying to get a bit more immersed into the experience, I think he probably went into this wanting the BUNDS as he says lol but is now realising he actually needs to develop something with someone and maybe he's not comfortable to yet or ready to yet, idk tho, but he's still a nice gguy
- Tasha I fear might be a bit of a player, I just cant shake this feeling i have about her, also her voice is very nasally, im not sure why, I dont think it's the deafness/cochlear implant situation, it's just her actual voice tone is grating on me a bit
- andrew, i am trying to like him but i just cannot unsee Curtis, he gives me PTSD, I have to actively remind myself just cos they look similar doesn't mean they are lmao, he seems more into tasha than she is into him tho... but he also seems like he would bring another girl from casa amour so i really dont know haha
- Afia isnt giving me much, I think she's not even giving much for friend island either, she seems to be following ekin-su's every move, I dont see much personality from her for game either, i think she thought cos she's coming in as a bombshell that everyone should run after her but she needs to try at least!!

So funny because at first they're like we love a confident girl who does some of the work, next minute she's too much 🤣

Side note, poor Paige, she's a great girl

They can't guarantee places in the final but they can change or manipulate the outcome.

I.e. when the public vote for their favourites, if Gemma is in the bottom two get the islanders to decide they will keep an original. Things like that.
