To me it looked like Luca just pushed past Gemma but her reaction says it all, he completely blanked her because she was talking to another guy. Man needs a word with himself. Gemma seems more at ease when he's not around, definitely think shes only sticking with him to coast to the win. Would love to see her paired up with someone else at the next recoupling so she can breathe a bit.

Going by this tattler who said that Love Island deleted their comment on their post, probably not.

They've deleted it and kept all the comments fawning over jacques lol. Shows what kind of narrative they want, he was scary af when he went to up to Paige last night and he needs serious therapy.

At last someone talking sense. Instead of arguing over physical abuse. It was NOT NICE what he did, no excuse.
 
This is SO true I found Jacques behaviour so triggering I’m so glad he’s gone.
He’d absolutely punch holes in walls

I reckon Jacques was fastracked onto the show because of his prior relationship with Gemma, an earlier post on here suggests Islanders are scouted for long time before, well maybe not in this case. Probably glossed over the medical checks for him just to get him out there. No problem getting him released from his pro rugby contract either. What young athlete would walk away from a sports contract early in their career? Unless he was like Toby and the other so called footballers from last season, all non league players. (sorry I'm not a rugby follower)

He’s injured apparently that’s why he was released from his contract!
I assumed he was just not that serious about his career but my other half follows rugby league and was shocked when he realised what level Jacques plays at.

I’ve lived in London all my life and I would have dobbed him in without hesitation, probably best before my dad got to him. I am being slightly flip here but appreciate things can be different in smaller communities. I arguably should have reported these things. I think my autism made me an easy target when I was younger. I have learned that I don’t respond like most people would to abusive behaviour - I tend to freeze. The rugby player in my home town was not from the UK - he was bought by the club here. He long since returned home.

Now he really was a toxic man! Probably my most hated love island contestant ever. Don’t think he had one moment where he was happy or joking around with the other lads. He was absolutely vile start to finish!!
 
I’m here again to say again can we bring back the challenges and the hideaway. They are so many friendships in the villa that we are missing on as well. Davide and Jay were super close even Danica and Indi apparently they are inseparable. Also can we get off of Tasha and Andrew villa plus Paige and focus on some other relationship. The casa amor people are getting less screen time than the caterers.
