Exactly and its not just to young girls like Liberty. Can happen to anyone. Fair play doing work on yourself with BPD beggie, we love ya babes 💖

He has definitely settled.
He had his sights on either Millie or the other girl (completely forgotten her name 😬) but neither showed the slightest bit of interest.
Maybe he resents Liberty a bit as he probably tells himself no one fancies him as he has a GIRLFRIEND. And that girlfriend should be grateful.
Tbh I feel a bit sorry for them both. They have both completely squandered their time in there due to his silly gameplan and not being honest.

And to be honest no one really was atttacted to Liberty either harsh but it’s true
No one was interested in either of them when new people came in etc
So they just settled for each other
 
Maybe controversial opinion but Liberty is not innocent in this. During the first few weeks all she kept saying to everyone including jake was how they get on so well, they are the same person etc etc so she pushed this relationship just as much as he did if anything she pushed it more with jake and he was having doubts about the romantic side of it and now she is throwing a hissy fit because he isn’t that into her 😐🥴🤔
 
I don’t really like Jake, I don’t even know why. Maybe the show has been edited to paint him in a bad light or maybe he really is playing a game, I’m actually too bored of him and Lib to care much.

BUT… in the early days when he said he didn’t want to rip her clothes off, I completely get it!! For me, I can appreciate that someone is good looking but that doesn’t mean I necessarily want to jump into bed with them. It takes a while to get to that point, even when they’re gorgeous to look at.

Take Teddy for example. He walked into the villa, obviously he’s a good looking guy but it wasn’t until his personality started to show that I thought actually I really fancy him.

Can’t believe I’m defending Jake but that’s my opinion anyway. As I said, I’m bored of him and Lib now.

I’m of the same opinion as you on this. You are (presumably) a woman tho like myself? Men are different and normally they think with their dicks 🙄 Have they been intimate recently and “sat the exams” or whatever this cringe chat about having sex is? I’m a bit behind but I don’t think they have? So that’s telling.

I don't know the inner workings of Jake's mind, but like another poster said my expectation was that he would be planning a big showboating declaration of love close to the finale. Because Liberty forced him into a corner he's had to desperately say it back without the bells and whistles.
 
I love this thread but all the arguing about opinions irritates me 😖 we can all have different opinions without arguing, just respect that people have different thought processes to you!

On another note:
Have yous seen the first look thing on Twitter about Chloe listening back to her voice note and Toby reciting it word for word 😂😂😂 honestly them two are my absolute faves now

Agreed! Who would've thought Chloe and Tobes would be the series saviours! I even think Millie and Liam is sooooo boring.

And Faye is an absolutely vile human being. I can probably understand why production is trying to salvage her image because you get some loonies who would probably bully her and make vile threats. But what they should've done is given us 10 minutes of her vile behaviour instead of an hour. And then they should;ve diplomatically said she left the show as it was all too much for her. Production did throw her under the bus knowing what we the public are like.
And now we have to sit through her pretending she likes Teddy and that she is the tit. Also FYI why can't anybody tell her to get rid of that AWFUL lipstick!

Worst LI ever. Not sure I'll watch it again. Everything is so contrived and done for the cameras. Wish they would bring back more normal people instead of people who want to be "influencers" with a PLT deal
 
I think Liberty undermined her valid points about Jake by mentioning him not saying he loves her before anything else she wanted to address with him. Firstly, we all fall in love at our own speed and I think it's quite spiteful to use that against someone in an argument. Secondly, she handed him the opportunity to "fix" all their issues by saying he loves her and not having to take on board anything else she said, which is a shame because some of the things she brought up definitely should be discussed properly.

I find it odd that everyone's concern about Jake holding Liberty back from Kaz was about whether he was playing up to the cameras and not, "why the duck does your boyfriend think he can tell you what to do?"
With every episode I become more and more convinced that they're both acting out a romance rather than actually being in one.

I have to agree with you. I would find it difficult to stomach an ‘intervention’ from Kaz, Chloe, Faye let alone Millie - Jake may appear to be a snake but what has he done in actuality? Nothing. Didn’t cheat in CA, was not trying it on with anyone, did not give us a whole ‘I’m so tempted but...’ narrative. He was pretty straightforward in my opinion. Tyler is more snakey and Liam, don’t get me started.

Farcical, they’ve all been living in the closest of probity for how long, six weeks, and it’s taken them until now to spot the writing on the wall, as opposed to the writing on the towel.
It is possible that some of them might have been aware but remained silent, thinking that Jake and LIberty were very popular outside and didn’t speak out lest it made them look bad .. everyone is out for themselves and those girls will be milking it in Sunday. Wonder if Liberty will have the sense to ask why none of them hadn’t marked her card until now.
Hmm. .. two chances of that happening, slim and none.

And let’s face it - Faye will be a dog with a bone. She has been desperate for revenge on Jake since Movie Night. An ‘intervention’ from that lot is actually comical. Can’t abide Jiberty but come on..
