None of it feels genuine to me, but I think it’s because she’s young and doesn’t seem sure of herself, she’s just copying people she’s seen in previous series. She was pretty smug about her relationship, and I do think she's rattled by the public opinion and doesn't know how to play it. Since day one she's been a walking love island handbook spitting out all the phrases.

Haha we use our first date as an anniversary, we don't really celebrate it, it's more just a 'ooh fb memories tells me we checked into this place X years ago , that was our first date!!' very much my thing as I've never been into that kinda thing - if/when we get married maybe! I might ask him later if he wants to make me his girlfriend, the reaction would be hilarious 🤣🤣

He was pressured into saying he loved her which isn't fair.
It takes ages to properly love someone & I do think an exclusive status/BF/GF comes first.
He was completely loyal in Casa Amor (although I agree his encouragement of the others was not great)

He has not been mean to her at all, I know all about gaslighting & don't believe that's what I'm seeing here. Its typical for someone to try and talk someone around to their point of view in an argument/conversation & his points are valid. He has not wronged her & then tried to make her feel like it was her fault - Gaslighting.

Are we really persecuting him for giggling & going red when talking about them as a couple.

The holding her back for her & Kaz to have their moment was a little odd but hardly crime of the century.

I think Libs feeling a bit insecure which I get after the comment (which was very early days) plus she's put on some weight in there and probably not feeling her best.

He's a funny looking little thing & not personally my cup of tea but I don't think he's the ogre everyone is making out.

I agree. He’s annoying but don’t think he deserves ALL the hate.
 
I dislike Jake because he definitely settled for Liberty and makes it incredibly obvious. He is unable to give her a compliment, probably because he feels he could do better, would jump so quickly if any other girl showed an interest, and doesn’t even seem to LIKE Liberty let alone love her.

And the little things like slapping her hand away when he proposed in the snog marry pie game, throwing her around the floor in the heart rate challenge and looking at the other girls instead of her, getting way more excited for every performance other than Lib’s, calling her “you idiot”, not even trying to impress her (farting on her from day 1), holding her back from congratulating Kaz, etc etc
