first time I’m seeing this article, not sure how the headline corresponded to becoming mostly about Lorna’s collections but if anyone is still wondering how she’s made so much money and I’m pretty sure she was on a good % deal with ITS….

'In the first week we've just taken just under £300k sales on Lorna alone, which is the biggest most successful launch we've ever had.'
 
I’ve just listened to the end of that podcast . Couldn’t do it all in one hit it’s taken me 3 days she’s so Fukkin cocky . The council estate and university crap FFS . I’m surprised there’s not someone on this thread that went to school with her and could spill the tea. Please step forward if there is , don’t be shy . She talks down about her Mum. Turns the Raisins cancer all about her and she mourns their previous life and should see a counsellor. Stealing designer creations and carving them into hideous ITS crap. Talking about having a bad mortgage means she can’t afford to go out as much that’s obviously the reason she’s off on all these Fukkin freebies . She forgot to mention she met Ol Scribbler on an event with Prince Harry 🤦‍♀️. Her dishing out relationship advice Fukkin hilarious contradicting herself re Team Luxe and Couple goals now. Plus the nailvarnish collab. FFS her nails are as bad as her fake tan . No wonder that Nail tech has been on her stories so much lately . She’s Fukkin vile

The upwardly mobile narrative is an interesting one. She’s older than me but we were part of that new labour/blairite gen who were told to go to uni for a better life, there’s a lot to discuss in that generally, but I don’t see how it’s relevant to her story? She didn’t go on to get a professional role and succeed as a result of her education, she married someone and gamed social media? She’s not a success story from that era of political ideology sorry to say.

I also really struggle to believe she completed that undergrad, I struggle to believe she even got in tbh.

She said something like . The Raisin couldn’t get a mortgage as he was over 60 so she had to get it on her own and as it wasn’t an average 3 bed house for the area . Much more expensive she couldn’t get a regular mortgage . I think she was hinting at it being ‘a spenny mortgage’
BUT they rent it out for shoots I think she said £3k a day . That’s probably when they go to Soho Farmhouse not coz she’s treating the Raisin but cos they’ve gotta get out of the house .
Bet they charge WOS for the shoot days as well .

Let’s be honest, a lot of what she says is deliberately intended to make us envious. But all that has done is made me grateful I’ve not over extended especially when she has a career with a shelf life and a husband who has ex wives who likely get some of his pension pot.
 
She was also really cocky about the ASA . I can’t remember exactly what she said but she says she marks everything AD now even if she’s bought it . 🤥
Also said something about Lockdown, when everyone was being furloughed and blaggers had always been saying they didn’t make any money out of blagging. All said in a mocking tone with a snigger . Deceitful bint

Thank you! ❤️ I’m in a similar boat in that mainstream lenders are reluctant to lend on our property and valuations can be problematic as they largely lack nuance/context, it just means that you’re limited to a handful of non mainstream lenders, and naturally this means your rates are slightly higher (by 0.x%s, not multiples by any means!), and product fees/valuations. It’s not “bad” at all, it’s just a choice you have to make when choosing a property! Sounds as if it was an unaffordable choice for them?

Ngl it looks as if this pair fling themselves from financial disaster to disaster. Why wouldn’t you seize the opportunity to become mortgage free at retirement? There are beautiful houses in her area starting at £400k, she could have gotten something truly special for half the price and had the money to eat out too…
