Same here. She was only joking. Obviously they didn’t get the joke that her character in Friends was a cleaning fanatic and this was just a reference to that. They were over analysing it like she was some kind of weirdo

Is Brenda religious? She seems awfully hang ‘em and flog em. Or sell your egg. And loud. Kelle did a great eyeroll at Brenda. I thought she was religious, but that seems out of kilter with her points of views sometimes.

She grew up in a very religious household but I don't think she is actively religious. Her granparents ran the pentecostal church in the community and that is how she became interested in gospel music.

How does Kèllè do all of the childcare? Her family are in Liverpool and she is down in London every week for Loose Women. Why is Jay not looking after the children? What are her other 2 jobs, as she says she has 3 but she doesn't do Hollyoaks anymore.

Kelle tends to only do 1 day a week of Loose. Maybe 2 at a push. Even with just 1 day she might have an overnight stay in London the night before the episode she does and catches the train straight back to Liverpool after the show to be back in time for school pick up

That won’t be an issue this week as I expect they’ll be on Easter school holidays

She has also said before that her mother helps with childcare. I wonder what Jay her husband does that is so draining he can't do childcare.
 
Sorry.... Just noticed....thought his balls would have been served up to her on that tray also? She must be wearing them for earrings today, my mistake.

Tiny stud earrings of course, nothing big and dangly and certainly not statement pieces.
 
I listen to Kaye Adams podcasts, I am way behind. The last one I heard was with Linda Robson. Kaye does the podcast with an ex BBC radio Scotland producer who has never seen Loose W. Linda mentioned her breakdown a few years back. Kaye’s sidekick asked her how her husband reacted to her breakdown. There was an awkward pause and she never really gave a reply relating to that question. Later on she mentioned her kids and grandkids and her dogs were the most important things in her life. No mention of her husband. She also says she keeps herself busy so that she doesn’t lapse into depression and often goes away by herself. Spends a lot of time on her own with the dog in Brighton where she stays in the Grand. It all points to separate lives, under the same roof, or maybe he has left? It seems to have unravelled when she had her meltdown. She would be better off formally separating. She puts herself forward for challenges deliberately, a fresh start would seem to be within her comfort zone.

Edit to add, she mentioned on the podcast that she had put herself forward for this. As she has never mentioned it, or is not reported as doing it, I guess she pulled out. She was thinking of doing it in her Fitflops, so not really realistic

@House of Tea yes it does seem to point to them being separated or at least separate lives without officially separating. Their kids have all left home I believe so if they are still living together I don’t see the point as they don’t have young kids at home they have to stay together for in order not to upset them

The way Linda talks about him on LW she seems to actively resent him. She never misses an opportunity to have a dig about him over something (fairly trivial sometimes)

I’m wondering if Linda is scared of being by herself completely and is one of those people who has always had a partner and has never spent a significant time on her own. She needs to be free if that is what she feels about him
 
I caught 1 min too much of Alison Hammond today on this morning. Her usual loud laughing at everything and non funny.

She is totally false. If anyone saw the ant and dec Saturday night show where they prank her, you see her real self with the hotel staff.

She wasn’t loud or funny she was awful and rude. Nasty piece of work.

I know her son lived in the flat in their basement. Perhaps he has moved out and her hub has moved in there?

I think that she has been rejected by him. She makes digs because she is hurt.

Yeh I think if this is what she is willing to put out in public it must be even worse being the scenes, most people cover up issues in their personal life until they are too bad to ignore
 
Remember about a year ago when they were talking about pregnancy and Gloria said if Jane got pregnant now, it would be an immaculate conception and Jane interjected and said it would more likely be medically impossible.

I think Jane had already told people behind the scenes about her split with Gary. But Gloria essentially made it public then by saying that.

Ruth asking Linda if she would go on Love Island confirms to me that she has split up with Mark.
