I'm no fan but I hope he hasn't been cheating on Linda She's had it happen twice before and it would just be really awful if he was at it too. I know the DM likes to stir the pot so hopefully thats all it is and their problems are not related to infidelity.
 
I am not condoning cheating, but living with her has got to be hard work. She is a very kind person but she isn’t intelligent, she’s a bit thick, she is coarse, and has issues with alcohol and OCD tendencies. They had a houseful but now they are at the empty nest stage of life. That is often a trigger point in marriages. After the kids go, is there any relationship left. They are at a life stage where you would question if that is all there is in life. They rarely go on holiday together, she seems to be on her own a lot. She turns up to so many random events on her own, that phrase goes to the opening of an envelope is appropriate for her. I think things have been awkward since she had her episodes a few years ago. Her career is on the wane too. Apart from LW, what else does she do. Poor Linda. Not my favourite panellist but it is sad for her.

All of those things must challenge a marriage. I don't know anything about Mark or what he's like. She certainly seems to be very focused on her kids and grandkids. Nothing wrong with that of course but you see that happen in marriages when things aren't quite right.

She could set up an acting school for under-priveleged children. A lot of the grants and scholarships that were around when she went to Anna Scher have been taken away by funding cuts. She could run it as a charity and pay herself a salary as a CEO. She loves children and well even though she is a dismal actress, she is known for being an actress, so I am sure it would be popular. Plus, it would keep her in the limelight to pop up on gameshows like Supermarket Sweep to top up her bank balance.

Pauline Quirke has already done this, very successfully all over the country, so it could be seen as copying her and there has been enough tension and newspaper speculation between the 2 of them quite recently.
Taking her money for old rope from LW will be enough to keep her head above water and her house should be paid for by now as it would not have been anything like its now worth when she bought it.

Pauline's academy is a very high end and expensive one, aimed at the upper class elite. I was thinking Linda's could be aimed at those with less money for opportunities.

If Mark has been cheating and they divorce, he will get half of the house and half of her estate.

Her and Jane Moore are similar ages. Poles apart. You can imagine Jane, if she wanted to, getting into a relationship with someone solvent, intellectual etc. Linda you can imagine nabbng some ol boy from down Chapel Market.

Body Positivity is the big topic tomorrow. Endless droning on about loving yourself for weeks now. The more they talk about it the less positive it feels.

Why not health positive, personality positive, or mind positive, or intelligence positive. It just reinforces that women are only about how they look. I know it is important for some people, but they do it to death.
