Yeah, I think this too.

Jill was appointed by the PCC in series 3, but we don't know who that is, they're never named. Sidwani wasn't appointed until series 5.
Of the "executive leadership", Hilton and Dryden have been proven to be corrupt. The others are Osborne, Andrea Wise (took over from Dryden), Sidwani,
Osborne served at Hillside, was on the counter terrorism team who tried to set up Steve and started it all, he was at South Ferry which is where Danny Waldron was, Polk Avenue where Roz Huntley and Buckells were, was involved with the Lawrence Chistopher case and is now the chief constable so I imagine that would influence who gets appointed to the PCC roles.
Marcus Thurwell was also at all those stations with Osborne, investigated the dead social worker from series 3 (with Fairbanks), and if he is in Spain, could almost certainly be the OCG's "Spanish connection".
Osborne is almost too obvious but he absolutely fits.

I think Mercurio has shoehorned in the details and changed the storyline retrospectively so that Osborne fits with the S6 storyline. We had no idea where Osborne had been since S1 and all of a sudden he was CC. There’s been 0 clues.

I haven’t particularly warmed to Jo, I don’t dislike the character but I’ve found myself thinking “I don’t really care what happens to her”, although I am interested in her background. I suppose maybe it separates her from previous strong female characters (Denton, Huntley, Carmichael, Biggaloe). I think it amplifies the fact that she’s being manipulated in some way and she’s clearly uncomfortable/unhappy with it. I know some of the aforementioned female characters have also been manipulated or threatened in some way, but I think Jo definitely seems the weakest and least comfortable.

Kate is bent
She’s shot Jo and reveals herself to Ryan.
They concoct a story about Ryan’s involvement to get him off the hook.
Don’t forget it’s only suspicion about Ryan so far about the drownings. No proof of anything else!
Remember how Kate just happened to show up to that scene? she took Dot’s dying declaration also. Dot leapt in front of a bullet for her. Hard to think that was love 😂
The double shot is one to show that Jo shot at them first they’ll then plant the gun on Jo?
It’s down to WWW to work it out.
Think the trailer supposedly showing the end result of last week’s scene is a Jed herring

She's certainly no Lindsey Denton or Roz Huntley. She must be the weakest female character in all the series.
I think we’re meant to feel sorry for her. But even in the workplace she’s a bit of a limp lettuce isn’t she?

Lads, I was so excited for LOD this week.

Unfortunately I went to to the hairdressers this week with the intention of getting platinum blonde locks. I now have two tone yellow hair. So I'm not on good form.

Jed, it had better be good this week, or I will have the strops.
LOD is going to pull you out and you’re going to get a lovely purple toner on that hair soon and look brand new. 😘

I hope it's a red herring, though I doubt it - I prefer to be surprised.

I don't think Kate is bent but will be annoyed if Ryan is just dead and doesn't get an interview scene and prison drama. The actor and character are great and it would be sad for them to just be dropped like that.

He can’t be dead we can’t be denied the glass box interrogation 😂
Steve has to face Ryan...possibly with a pair of bolt cutters in his hand

Well they've said that like half of the upcoming episode is an interrogation scene.... I wonder who it'll be?
Ryan with Kate steering the interview
The nation will riot if it’s not Ryan in that glass box
Jo wouldn’t be so interesting. She’d fold like a card table. She’s just the fall guy they’ll pin it all on as she’s related to original OCG Tommy Hunter

Rewatching season 1 for the craicc

forgot about Kate throwing herself into Gates office as she wanted into AC12 to fight “real crime”

something defo off with Kate 🤔

The scene that concerns me about Kate is in S1E1 is where she reveals she’s a UCO to Steve and she dismisses him when he mentions about corrupt officers being in the pockets of the criminals - “you’re not on your own, unless you want to be”.

definitely! And then when Kate and gates are talking and he says about what a good detective she is and she says yea but that’s not the only reason you hired me is it.... very strange
