I am way too invested in this. The OH asked me this morning what were my new lines of enquiry

Well as it happens, last night I was thinking that Ted is going to go rogue (and bring Osbourne down). He has nothing left to loose; no wife, poxy flat and now no job so he is just gonna go for it and that could be why he did the pep talk to Steve about it not mattering if they don't get them this week, month etc

so I now think that if anyone if going down it is Ted. Which leaves the door open for Steve and Kate to make a new series. Although who would want a series with no Ted??!! Mother of God, Jesus Mary and Joseph I don't.

I think H is Hillside and THE non H, H is Osbourne (would the CC Osbourne have to sign off the convoy of Cherry Bakewll Tart???)

But then Jed has probably anticipated every possible theory and will still manage to hit us with a proper zinger - CANNOT EFFIN WAIT

I think Osborne is too obvious.

I am leaning towards Kate being H (if I have to pick out of Ted, Steve and her) but tbh I will be incandescent with rage if any of the big three are revealed as corrupt.

For me it is Kate's connection with Jane Akers and the fact she cheated with Richard Akers. That was her friend's husband. That was pretty damn low of Kate and may have been a hint as to her true character.

I think H is that pesky camera man that was in the lift with Steve. Best place to hide is in plain sight, and he's clearly infiltrated AC-12 without raising suspicions so is able to get all the information he needs.

I think the best and most surprising outcome would be if Steve or Kate were H. I don’t know about any of you but I wouldn’t care if it were Osborne, I can barely remember him. It’s gotta be someone at the forefront to be a good enough ending for me.

Maybe Steve is so interested in chicken Licken and 50K cos its HIS 50K.

He Likes shagging a witness too; Right back to first series when he goes after Nadia (she of the free bacon butty) When he went undercover with DI Denton maybe it was all for other reasons........... Oh my head is gonna explode

Only now rewatching series 1 (again oops) and Hillside is mentioned a lot - which I'd never have noticed before this series! Dot had worked there, in ep 1 Hilton says "Hillside's crime figures are better than ours by 5%" meaning even Hillside were doing better than the ladderer Gates I think I'd like it to be Hillside and for Kate to catch some flack for leaving an anti-corruption unit and going straight to where the corruption happens... daft bint
