As a kid I remember getting my bowl of cornflakes in the morning and hoping there would be a fresh bottle of milk with the cream on top. That bottle was never shaken. I also added loads of sugar so probably not the healthiest of breakfasts 😁

Believe it or not the family doctor recommended it after I injured my knee as a child ( 5-6 I think). As Maggie points out medical advice has changed...

If it helps I recall having Sugar Puffs as well as Frosties too back then. In fact I used to love the Variety packs which also had rice krispies and the like....

Good point Yel. The cholesterol debate has got more nuanced.

Sadly it still leaves Fenella and I mainlining sugar as kids. Still we are both going strong....
 
Interesting article in next week's Radio Times about designing and building the Vigil set. It took three and a half months and was a hell of a job because plans and pictures of the interior of a Trident sub. are secret. Also they had to take into account the need to accommodate cameras and lights as well as actors.

I haven't watched it yet. Been recording it.

I think LBC are going to have to shut down for the rest of the year. Nicki Minaj having beef with Boris and Chris Whitty and calling Laura Kuessenberg a dumbo. There is nothing that will top that this year.

It has got better as Nicki has also told Piers Moron what she thinks of him.

I'm enjoying it. It's quite a complicated plot, with Russian spies and conspiracies. It switches between the sub. and the police on dry land. Suranne Jones' character is extremely annoying!

Steve leaves all his lights switched on 24/7. He's probably one of those strange people who never open their curtains or windows. 😬
