Anybody who comments on his life is a curtain twitcher. God knows what that makes him!Still laughing at Steve’s reaction to Janet/Janice “the curtain twitcher” complaining about him leaving 5 lights on all day
Yes, I do often have Steve on in the background if I can't sleep, or I'll catch up with him when preparing dinner/doing the housework, he is quite good as background noise.Anyone else enjoy Iistening to Steve simply as background noise too? Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy listening to him, but other times he's useful as noise lol.
I'm sure she's just another right wing tory stooge.
LBC listener of the year 'Colin from Windsor' certainly hasn't endorsed the appointment yetFor avoidance of doubt of those that don't know me from old ... that remark was me being facetious.
I have no idea what this lady's political leaning are or what The Scotsman represents. I just know certain factions on social media think everyone employed by LBC is a 'right wing tory stooge'.
Wonder if we'll get a Welsh or Northern Irish political editor too?
I'd put money on Jobbie's first topic tomorrow being his opinion of Nadine Dories's appointment to the Cabinet. He's hated her for years, ever since she tweeted that he was 'a public school ****wit'.

I have to say I am starting to warm to her.I'd put money on Jobbie's first topic tomorrow being his opinion of Nadine Dories's appointment to the Cabinet. He's hated her for years, ever since she tweeted that he was 'a public school ****wit'.
I feel like the classic Steve is making a return, I think he’s in a better headspace now following the treatment and the time off. It’s a lot easier to listen to him without being frustrating, as much as you can be listening to SteveSteve Allen - "I used to hide from the Milkman on a Saturday morning"
"I was skint for a while, living in my car (a Fiat Tipo) until a friend who owned a Nightclub took me in, the Club got robbed one night, a robber burst into my room & said 'get up!'.......'Certainly not! I'm in my underpants"
Understood Fenella, you even got a like from me on the original post for being a smart a*rs*. ......For avoidance of doubt of those that don't know me from old ... that remark was me being facetious.

Nor has LBC's previous expert on Scottish affairs James McBrien.LBC listener of the year 'Colin from Windsor' certainly hasn't endorsed the appointment yet
Steve has been very good this week, he's laid off the nastiness towards certain people & just blethered nonsense, there's been a few laugh-out-loud moments, can't always say that with an LBC show these days.I feel like the classic Steve is making a return, I think he’s in a better headspace now following the treatment and the time off. I think JoB is in danger of overplaying his hand a little bit, the themes are just similar every day. Even now I just can’t tolerate 6 hours of him and Majid so I switch off, saying that I do still like mystery hour.
I’m sick of Nick Ferrari faux outrage over the M25 protests. He’s getting very grumpy in h8s advancing years that one.

Fair play to him.
This weekend he said, he actually ran through some of the menu trying to suppress a droolSeems he's going to Joe Allen's soon. I'm sure he said he's going with Cory, his ex producer. I guess it's good to know he still keeps in contact with ex-producers. Steve is probably the loyal type too, who, once you are a friend of his, you are a friend for life to him. Gotta give him credit for treating those around him well to be fair.

More brasserie, slightly upmarket American, Eggs Royale, fancy burgers & steaks etcHaha. I dunno why but thought Joe Allen's was Italian restaurant. It is an American diner type place, right?
