Does anyone listen to the podcast with him and the others from the BBC? If it was any good surely LBC would make a radio show using them.

Lewis Goodall presents a programme on Friday evenings. He was one of those that left the BBC, and now co-presents The NewsAgents podcast.

Getting rid of Sopel was a blessing for the BBC. Nasty bugger.

Can't say I had any particular opinion of him when he was at the BBC.

Behind the scenes Sopel was an absolute d1ckhead, one of the reasons he was shuffled-off to cover Washington. I think he used to turn up at the BBC on a big Harley Davidson sometimes, not that that's a crime ... but let's just say he had a lot of self confidence in himself. No wonder him and Maitliss seem to get on quite well.

Funny how all the ex BBC presenters who've joined Global are on various degrees of the left wing spectrum. Do we really believe they only discovered their political antennae when they left the Beeb ?

Obviously when they were working for the Beeb they were not allowed to express any political view. When they join LBC as Andrew Marr said when he joined, that he was "given his voice back". If, for example, James O'B had only worked for the Beeb, we would never have known he was a card carrying, fully paid up member of the Conservative Party :p

How are you coping with Bobby Crush over at Brinsworth House?
I've no idea how he got away with getting his piano into the Dormitory.
On the plus side I hear he's quite generous with his caffeine shampoo samples

Nor that he had voted for Boris Johnson...

James will have a plethora of topics to pontificate upon this morning..Am expecting another Braverman onslaught. Please no Harkle crap though.

What's Starmer playing at? Pretty unconvincing potential leader of the nation when he can't even answer a simple question from fatty Ferrari.

I thought James said it was a masterstroke by Starmer last week? I guess we'll have to see if it was, or a colossal own goal. Maybe he misses Boris and wants him back ...
It is looking more like an own goal.

As to James his book "how to be right" will have to be transferred to the fiction or perhaps the comedy section.
