I must admit I used to like her when she did the local BBC News for London. Then she got promoted to Newsnight on the telly. I think I only saw her once or twice on there, as I don't usually see the programme. I must admit what I saw of her, I didn't note any political leanings. However, James will be pleased that he has a new comrade in the ranks (probably on a higher salary than him !!).

I watered my plants last night with a number of watering cans. I would use more water if I used the hosepipe. I filled the watering cans with the hosepipe 😂

The prospect of Truss as PM is horrific, thick as 2 short planks, at least Sunak is an economist and knows the figures.

She comes out with some truly embarassing things sometimes. She already making me shudder to think she'll be leader. Gone from one awful leader to another. Tom Tugenhaght would have been so much better. I personally wanted Rory Stewart before Boris Johnson got the gig. We can never have anything nice can we lol

You picked my two favourites there. Tugendhat and Stewart. Can't stand Truss.

It's the first time I've listened to Chris Bryant and I quite enjoyed his show. I'll definitely listen to him again.

IMO most of the competent Conservatives left after the Brexit vote.
 
Tracy from Basingstoke messaged into Steve and said 'we care about you, do you know how much sugar you eat, terrible for a diabetic'

Steve then replies with "my diabetes is under control Tracy. No need to panic. You are in Basingstoke, everyone panics in Basingstoke don't they. Can we build them a roundabout. All that Basingstoke is known for is for roundabouts and concrete buildings'

😂😂😂 Steve takes so many comments about his health and diet as personal attacks lol
 
Is Ian Payne permanent on the late night slot? Been on the last couple of weeks since Tom moved on and listed for next week as well.

If so, I wonder who gets the short straw of the weekend 4am graveyard slot. The weekends could see a bit of change now that Pierce & Tominey are gone and Swarbrick on Sunday is now finished with him going to drive.

Richard Spurr has been doing 4-7am the past few weekends, Ian Payne has been quite enjoyable in the 10pm slot, a livelier show than Tom had.
