Yes a poor poster Paul is getting all the abuse now. They are just evil and a bunch of bullies. They really need to take a long hard look at themselves. I was tempted to comment on the nasty post from the emoticon ghost about Anne Widdecombe. I presume she is stunning with beautiful teeth and the most perfect figure......the emoticon ghost I mean.

Bangla was accusing Nick Ferrari of sexism today. The most sexist, misogynistic comment I ever had on an internet forum came from him. Zero self awareness.

It's interesting that when Jobbie discusses less controversial topics and isn't slagging off Brexit, Boris and the Tories in general, his DS fan club lose interest. If they are typical of his audience, his listening figures are going to nosedive.

Has anyone noticed more adverts popping up in the podcasts? I thought that was the point of the podcasts that they were advert free.

Nick Abbott was saying that his podcasts will only be available on Global Player and no other podcast app. I assume that will be for all LBC podcasts. He didn't give a date but said it was happening soon.

I wonder if they will start charging for podcasts in the future or use of the Global App?

I have often wondered how they square things with promoting LBC as a 'live' station and then promote a podcast, almost saying 'don't listen to LBC, listen to this podcast instead' !

I was never aware that they were supposed to be free, but obviously they can 'capture' a wide audience.

You used to subscribe, pay a small fee and they didn't have any adverts at all. Then it went all free but they're definitely slipping in more ads.
Now it's just going to Global App.

That was when it was 'proper' wrestling. Saturday afternoon at 4pm. I loved it. My Grandad used to take me to the wrestling in Liverpool on a Friday night. Absolutely loved it.

The dog should be grateful. Jobbie's voice has soared to such heights of excitement that it probably can only be heard by dogs. Boris and Brexit, with a sprinkling of Trump.
