James' head has swollen.
Boris is a narcissist and committed liar, that was the worst swing/result in by-election history, he's destroying the conservative party and the public's willingness to vote for them.

Libdems often win by-elections because a) they get the protest vote from disaffected Tories, and lose it at the next GE, when voters return their own party. And (b) it's one seat, which the Libdems can afford to chuck everything at. Their resources are far more thinly spread at a GE. But it suits the likes of Maire and Jobbie to say it's all about Boris. Temporarily perhaps but it'll take dynamite to dislodge him and he's got two years to prove them wrong. On the other hand, he could be gone by next week!!
 
Jimbo doesn't really appreciate (or he does but doesn't admit it) that Boris is box-office for British media, just in the same way Trump was to US media.

I don't know. The first couple of callers to James summed up my position perfectly. I think it is about Boris. The Conservatives will not get another vote from me, in anything, until Boris is gone.

James owes his success to all these shenanigans. Without it he'd be back discussing breast feeding on a regular basis.

There were a few Americans I followed who had a high old time during the Trump years and became prominent. Once he was out they sort of faded away because they had no material.

Do you think it will ever dawn on James that left-wing hand-wringers and naggers are just as bad a right-wing bigots? Both sides just squeeze-out the middle, rational, centrists among-us. Still ... who wants a consensus, that doesn't really bring in the listening/viewing figures does it.

That's the thing. He is as sensationalist as some of the right wingers he says he despises. He uses exactly the same tactics and tricks as any Daily Mail journalist.

Natasha Devon last night was a prime example, she even used some of Jimbo's material. Her little rant the other week about Britiain being a 'silly little island full of racists' doesn't exactly bring people together does it. Last night she was basically slagging-off Boris for being a narcissist, that's a bit rich coming from someone working in commerical broadcast media who clearly loves the sound of their own voice. LOL. You couldn't really make it up.
