I don't think he cares. He was saying this morning that he sits on the train, shopping on Amazon. He recently spent £100 on DVD's. The joke is that he doesn't actually watch most of them.

I get the impression James is a bit of a lost soul really ... not much good at anything, not very interesting, not attractive physically ... he hasn't got a lot going for him really. Soppy old me feels a bit sorry for him. Just wish he wasn't so unpleasant for no reason to people, that's a pretty ugly trait.

I think he does them himself along with his neighbour Lynn.
Swears by Tomorite to enhance growth.

Tomorite! Another of his obsessions. He used to do a Saturday tea time gardening show in the 90s featuring Christine someone as a gardening expert and she always used to recommend it. He now clings to that as one of his secret expert learnings in life. Bless him.

It won't be long no doubt, before he brings up the next old chestnut in his repertoire Spudulike, the long defunct fast food outlet. Gosh perhaps I should start listening to him again! Lol.

I actually liked Spudulike. About the only fast-food chain I ever used. Sad I know.

Nick abott going on his first holiday in X years and only eating ready meals in the flat is so typical of him 😆. The view couldn't have been that good, even if he had the best view in Madrid.

I only recently learned that was Christine walkden who did a series on TV called glorious gardens from above.

Yeah ... I quite liked her, but I don't think she met the tough liberal, left-leaning, box-ticking, BBC execs idea of a TV presenter ...ie: She was a white woman over 50. Can't be having that. Which is odd considering the BBC is probably only watched and paid for by the same demographic!

That all sounds really odd/ After all he must be able to afford a few meals out.

Did he get some M&S ready meals?

Steve was regaling the listener with details of his skin grafts - "wafer thin like those little machines they use in the kebab shop"
Liz Truss on talking with Nick Ferrari, my goodness she sounds dense

Oh I missed Lusty Liz ... haha. I don't think she *is* dense, but when you have to tow the mad line that Boris' Tory Party pushes it's hard no to sound pretty mad yourself. :geek:

There's so many people (of various different political leanings) that keep defending Liz but she's always such a mess.

Steve said this morning he couldn't have nuts (due to the diabetes presumably) but he has various other ultra processed fatty foods that seem much worse than a few cashews?

One minute he's 'I don't eat cake because I'm diabetic' then he's telling you had apple pie and ice cream and half a dozen cocktails at Joe Allen's. Maybe it doesn't count if it's in a restaurant 😁
