I am always dubious of statistics. Particularly when they say Nick and James both got 1.4 million each. What are the chances of a dead heat? I suspect one may have been rounded up or rounded down. Likewise Shelagh and Eddie. Iain Dale is always going to have a problem of getting a large listenership inasmuch as he 'clashes' with peak TV time (eg the Soaps!).

What will be intersting in the future is people who say they were listening to talkRADIO or GB News Radio, but through their telly. I suspect a lot of people don't quite 'get it' and could be confused. I wonder how many listeners LBC get on Freeview. I would suspect very little, inasmuch they never promote the service, so it would be down to word-of-mouth or people finding it by accident.

And in these days of soaring fuel prices, having the TV on is more expensive than all the other ways of listening!

Yes m'Lady. It is a weekly average.

I now have the official figures .....tap tap tap on the drums !

(figures in brackets are the last survey's figures - December 2021. These figures are till March 2022)

LBC 97.3 (London only)

Nick Ferrari 825,000 (783,000)
James O'Bri 776,000 (635,000)

LBC (UK)

Nick Ferrari 1379,000 (1295,000)
James O'Bri 1389,000 (1308,000)

So they are quoting 14m which I suppose is 'near enough', but it is neck and neck !

Nationally Nick gained 6.49% more listeners where James got 6.19%

I am off to a meeting on something completely different. I will be looking at the figures in more detail later.

And there was James blathering on about having the biggest show all morning ... never mentioned he was sharing the honours with Nick. :ROFLMAO:

He was terrible today. I think he might have been a bit over excited. I don't think he took a call between 1030 and 1130. He was also insufferable with one caller from Manchester. Fair enough the guy was a bit of an idiot by saying he was a payed up member of the Conservative party but was unbiased (🤪) and the two of them just ended up talking over each other.

God the thought of 1.4 million a day tuning in to be gaslighted by Jobbie. How depressing.
