That’s a great thread. Really interesting.

As I get older I feel that I can see more and more that all our individuality “realities” are 99% projection and that almost all the chatter and activity is completely and utterly meaningless.

I do agree that JOB has lost it and that his particular projection has taken over any sort of semblance of fairness, empathy or even just general intellectual curiosity and desire to understand a subject properly. I think there are a few categories there he could fit into.

Speaking of the subject James has another problem. After all according to him Germany has been right and us wrong on almost anything you care to name. If so why are they suddenly changing so much?

 
Poor old James opening his show talking about the increase in German defence expenditure.

He must be desperately hoping nobody points out that this is something that someone he described as an idiot and worse kept pressing for. As it was President Trump.

I'm listening this morning because he seemed to be leading into an interesting discussion, but he can't resist slipping in snide digs at Johnson and Trump. There's no need to mention either but I suppose he needs an outlet for his hatred.

After hearing the promos for Andrew Marr's new programme from 6pm, I wondered how long it was going to be. Would Iain lose part of his programme? I have just read it is just the hour, as Nigel used to do. Eddie, of course reverts to 2 hours.

That leaves Jon and Emily to fit in - weekends 1 - 3pm ????

Yes, the Andrew Neil of James’ imagination is sitting in his French farmhouse guzzling red wine, cackling and rubbing his evil hands together at the thought of another glorious day of inflicting “hideous public abuse” on the likes of “finest Information War Reporter” Carole Cadwalla.

Someone in that scenario is deranged and it ain’t Andrew Neil.
 
Haven't they got anyone better than nick Abott to cover the weekday 10pm-1am? He's been booked for the whole week and his voice doesn't suit serious stuff, always sounds like he's being sarky. It'll be nearly two weeks in that slot. 😐. Nick take the money to go on holiday and stop complaining that you haven't been on holiday for 10 years.

This is the same Andrew Neil that James accuses of being a Tory stooge. The same Andrew Neil that Boris Johnson refused to be interviewed by prior to the election.

Listening to him today and he's still blathering on about Brexit Britain. Yesterday he actually said the 'EU reacted swiftly in making decisions' . That must be a first James ;)

I'm not even a Brexiteer but James seriously does my head in 😜
 
It has got better as "the first and finest information war reporter" according to James O'Brien has made quite a fool of herself today.

1. It is breath taking enough she did not know about the Budapest Memorandum
2. Her immediate self-promotion to expert on the subject means she can fully display the sort of things that went so wrong in her libel trial.
