Love this old clip of James unravelling in the face of common sense.
Ugh. Imagine being married to that!

The nearest I can think of was when our former Head Girl Bev Turner was followed by Lucy Beresford on a Saturday evening. Was there an occasion when they were preceded or followed by another woman?Looking at the schedule for the weekend and next week on the LBC site. Firstly whoever is responsible for putting the schedule up, doesn't know Andrew Marr starts next Monday. Also, on Sunday they have Natasha Devon, Camilla Tominey and Rachel Johnson following each other. Is this a first, to have three women presenters together?

Actually the EU did act quickly as it took advantage of Russian gas being relatively cheap by buying more of it. So it is helping to finance Putin's war. This is the same Andrew Neil that James accuses of being a Tory stooge. The same Andrew Neil that Boris Johnson refused to be interviewed by prior to the election.
Listening to him today and he's still blathering on about Brexit Britain. Yesterday he actually said the 'EU reacted swiftly in making decisions' . That must be a first James
I'm not even a Brexiteer but James seriously does my head in
I just wish Nick wouldn't join in with Jobbie's determination to blame recent government for the amount of roubles sloshing around in our economy. This article, from 4 years ago and rather long, traces it back decades and how it's not just the UK which is used for money laundering.Another excellent effort from Nick Ferrari this morning.
Meanwhile yet another
UK bad
EU good
opening from the ever more obsessed James O'Brien
Rachel Johnson is beyond bad.
Makes me wonder, do you think Natasha gets on with the other two? Politically they are polar opposites.

How Britain let Russia hide its dirty money
The long read: For decades, politicians have welcomed the super-rich with open arms. Now they’re finally having second thoughts. But is it too late?www.theguardian.com
James has no interest in the bigger picture. All he wants are sticks he can beat the UK with.I know it doesn't make it right but I do wish the likes of James would look at the bigger picture. To listen to broadcasters like James you would think that the UK is the worst place on the planet. I've only just learned that the French are still taking taxes from African countries that were part of their colonial past. I'm sure if you look at any country you will find shady goings on.
I totally agree. James is a really toxic personality and not remotely interested in any kind of objective perspective. He’s found his audience and he’s giving them what they want. Weirdly it reminds me of the phenomenon Jordan Peterson talks about in a lecture discussing the rise of dictators - specifically how Hitler’s* rhetoric became more and more extreme as he talked to crowds at the beginning of his political life… he’d say a bunch of stuff, listen to where the cheers were, give them more of that, listen to even louder cheers, build on that… and that feedback loop was what helped cement his philosophy.James has no interest in the bigger picture. Added to that is his hatred of posh boys like Boris who are more successful than him.
It makes for quite a toxic mix.

*I am not saying I think Jobbie is Hitler.

I was listening to to Iain Dale covering from Matt Frei and Matt was on discussing Ukraine. Matt used the word 'bollocks' at one point. Iain didn't bat an eyelid, no apology for language. Good see common sense prevail. There are certain times these things need to slide.
I know that the news agenda has worked for LBC in terms of audience numbers but I think they could lighten things up at the weekend. Have a news show ( for today Tom Swarbricks) but then lighten things up for the others.I know why the news is wall to wall Ukraine but thank God for Steve Allen and him discussing his dislike for lobster how much cutlery he gets through.
