Whoopee! No Oily this weekend. Ian on Saturday and Henry on Sunday. Vanessa in for Shelagh next week.
I may actually tune in to that.

It looks like Purkiss has gone down the same rabbit hole as Carole Cadwalladr. She should be careful as it cost Carole and her crowfunders a lot of money in legal fees and compensation.
Oh dear Matthew ....
Oh dear Matthew ....
Apparently they got him on a bad day...Whilst I hope he gets his money back surely you have to be really dim to be caught by bank scammers twice?
You have to remember that he was on heavy duty medication to treat his excruciating neck condition..He bravely left his car at the supermarket and ran home defying the pain to get his bank account details...Still under the influence of mega analgesics (ok to drive though)

Matthew Wright is not having a good time of it lately .....
How spooky. I have just had a catch up too before I came here and thought exactly the same as you. I did say that thread would go quiet once Labour are in as everything would be just perfect . Even poor Annie from Carnforth is regretting her Labour vote per her call to Nick A last night.I occasionally drop in on the 'other place' to see how they're coping with the loss of their targets for abuse and noticed a change of posters. Several newbies have appeared and some of the old guard rarely bother to turn up. And they actually discuss LBC.
God knows there's plenty to criticise about the new regime but it's what they voted for!
Blimey, Iain's not at all well. At least if he vanishes from the airwaves for a few weeks there won't be any speculation as to where he is. He managed to broadcast from home all through lockdown so perhaps he'll do that again.
YET ANOTHER UPDATE: I’ve delayed this one. Had MRI scan. Gall bladder is perforated and leaking bile. No removal op possible until antibiotics do their thing. Will take 5-6 weeks and I will only be operating at reduced capacity for that period while it’s monitored. So I’m staying in hospital for at least another 2 days. And there was me hoping I’d be going home today. Hey ho. But I’m cheerful and had a lovely visit from my friends @DanielBryce15 and @sianwilliams100 who lives nearby. The nurses on this ward are incredibly lovely and I’m enjoying chatting to them. I’ve got a lot of feedback for @wesstreeting from my mystery shopper role. People in west Kent should be really proud of their hospital and the people who work in it.
Don't we all? It's one way of relieving the tedium of temporary incapacity when our nearest and dearest are sick to death of hearing about it..I'm sorry he is unwell but all these medical updates are unnecessary in my opinion. I get the feeling that he is quite enjoying all the "drama" of a hospital stay and the attention and sympathy it creates. I can imagine him swapping symptoms and chatting for hours about his aches and pains in the weeks to come.
