God Ian’s being such a dick today. He just boasted about buying five grave plots all in a row for his whole family for £50 a plot. Losing the plot mate
Bring back crazy Ken the Scottish bible thumper or mad Adam from Westminster, at least they were entertaining, but then again maybe too challenging for the tedious presenters.
Gets worse next week - Marina Purkiss is pencilled in.Waking-up to James O'Brien lite on an early Sunday morning? Who on EARTH thinks that's a good idea?

I found his last hour quite entertaining. Perhaps he's fallen out with his producer but several callers disagreed with him. The topic was Rishi Sunak laughing at a woman who wants to go back to the way things were, and callers' nostalgia for the Thatcherite 80's was met with Dugmore giggling at them. One caller said he was naive and a texter wanted to go back to before LBC employed him!
even her voice annoys meVorderman
It's so absurd to me that broadcast outlets seemingly want to employ 'younger' presenters to draw in a younger audience when younger people don't listen to the radio, watch tv, or read newspapers. I've been seeing a lot more LBC soundbites pop-up on Youtube recently, so maybe they are just doing it for online social media clicks. Whichever way you cut it, for the older radio audience it results in a crap product. Speaking of crap products, has anyone been listening to Vorderman? How crap is she?
Me too..even her voice annoys me
I don't think I could quantify her level of crappiness...Did she grow up in "abject poverty"? She must need the cash for another cosmetic procedure to inflate her....ego.
Oldbury...Ranjit.... dead phone line...pause..ok....let's wait til after the news break aaaannd...Oldbury... Ranjit you are through to Nick (again).
Are LBC only letting the same repeat callers on, week after week?
There must be plenty of other callers surely?
bleeping tedious

You are missing the crucial ingredient at least in Sangita's mind. That is that everyone will realise the wisdom of a former Radi04 presenter and go well said Sangita!Honestly, I fail to see the point of having a phone-in about how to make a two-state solution work between Israel and Palestine. Politians, diplomats, historians, academics and journalists haven't come up with any workable ideas in 30 years, so how can Dave the cabbie in Peckham offer a solution? It's a bleeping waste of airtime. Rant over.
Maitlis and O'Brien. I somehow resisted
Chief Politics Bod at Joe 90 more like..Apologises if I've already mentioned previously, but Oli Dugmore interviewing O'Brien popped up on my timeline. Didn't realise OD was chief politics bod at Politics Joe. 30 odd minutes of OD kissing arse, asking pata cake questions, not challenging him on anything and nodding along obsequiously. Next on the suggestion algorithm was an interview between Maitlis and O'Brien. I somehow resisted
So did Andrew Castle.Ranjit has replaced Annie from Carnforth as the most boring caller. Absolutely tedious.
Nick never mentions his RAJAR numbers but last night he did briefly say 'we're the number one show in this time slot I'll have you know' .
When Paul Easton used to do his graphs, Nick had a bit of a spike like Steve Allen's.
Due to a bad night trying to sleep I heard quite a lot of LBC during the night. Mike from Beverley (or East Yorks) as Nick A always says was on with Nick, then on with Clive and then on with Ollie Dugmore so yes looks like same callers on week after week, night after night and show after show.Oldbury...Ranjit.... dead phone line...pause..ok....let's wait til after the news break aaaannd...Oldbury...
