Documenting yourself boiling an egg, then eating said egg, while talking about whether your husband likes your bright yellow eyeshadow isn't the best 'content' is it? She even went to see Derren Brown and didn't say a single thing about it afterwards! That immersive theatre thing costs £92 per person. Obviously it was gifted this time but imagine being able to afford things like that as regularly as she does. They bought more old broken cameras.... wasn't she decluttering old cameras today!?

That Gleam event must have been a bunch of narcissists in a room all fighting to have their picture taken.

She’s been reeeeeaaaallll quiet on that 30 day decluttering challenge 🤣

I fully appreciate that hoarding and other similar issues are usually a result of mental health problems. Which is awful. But when it comes to Katie it’s hard to pin point the issue because all I see is excessive consumption - doesn’t matter if it’s in a charity shop or not, it’s still just excessive consumption at the end of the day.

she has said she struggles to part with things that have sentimental value and I get that. But you can’t tell me that all her clothes and fucking bath bombs and unused Molton brown products have sentimental value.

Tbh I would have a lot more respect for Kath if she admitted that she had a real problem (in terms of the hoarding) and was seeking help for it. She must know there's a real issue. Don't get me wrong, I have stuff I know I need to get rid of - I would say most of us do - and I keep items I have sentimental attachments. I have an old cassette tape that I can't even play because it was my Grandad's, I would never get rid of it. But I don't have 50 bath bombs, 27 dry shampoos and empty bottles of body spray.

HI KATH 👋

That YouTube Short about a London date night..... is it meant to be helpful? It equates to 'here's some food'. No mention of what they had, how they'd rate the food, the service, the experience, the cost. What's the point? Is this what 'content' is now? Maybe I'm old and out of touch but I don't understand the point of it or how anyone would find that useful to watch.

I think there’s been a dramatic shift in influencer content. It’s not about the quality of things anymore, honest feedback or anything useful. It’s literally about ✨ aesthetic ✨
Aesthetic is now a brand in itself, she doesn’t need to explain whether something tastes good or isn’t worth the money or anything that could be useful to the consumer. It looks good and fancy and it’s gonna go on Instagram and that’s what ppl should care about.
These influencers are teaching a generation to lower their standards and buy into over priced overrated products/services simply bcoz it’s trending or it displays a certain aesthetic, and will look good for the piks. It’s so so sad.

So yesterday morning Katie posted the picture below around the time as the pic of her hotel breakfast. I didn't take a screenshot of it but also yesterday morning G posted a view of the Richmond park. The hotel Katie stayed in was in Richmond. Did they stay there together? And Morris had to be cat sitted? Can't an adult cat stay a night by itself?

A normal adult cat could, but there’s probably about 500 different ways that Morris could die if left alone in the mausoleum of junk.
