The parenting tv thing sounds awful. Any parent who has chosen a defined style to parent with is always insufferable. I think most people use a combination of the bits they liked about how they were raised, the opposite of what they didn’t like and the rest is just winging it. Any extreme ‘all or nothing’ style is just going to mess up the kid.

She is choosing to go down the anti- woke road and occasionally I agree with her but the Jonah hill thing came off as internalised misogyny.

She really does. Judging people for their looks, liking Andrew Tate posts and generally being v pick me cool girl.

But then quite trad wife in a lot of ways too. BK clearly didn’t love being a house husband. It threatened his fragile ego and it’s not the way it’s meant to be although not working and relying on KR for his golf money doesn’t bother him.
 
Right I’m listening to this weeks episode and I’m honestly astounded at the nanny chat. It’s unbelievable how arrogant she comes across ‘these girls want full time hours’ YES THEY DO! If you want a weekend nanny then yes you’ll need to find someone who has another career during the week. How out of touch can you be? Most of her listeners will be struggling with very little help with their kids where a nanny is not an option. Listening to this privileged kind of chat is painful. Talking about her current nanny who ‘doesn’t get in our business’ omg. Imagine chatting to your employer! Haha, the audacity. I should really stop listening to her podcast as she is winding me up now.

Also the new parenting programme sounds like a disaster as nothing causes arguments and upset like differences in parenting styles. I don’t know why she’d want to get into that, it’s toxic. Wait a minute, I do know why, it’s because she thinks she’s better than everyone else.
 
I do think they are excellent parents though. They play beautifully with their children and place them at the centre of their world. I know they’re in a privileged position to do so but so many people in their position continue to do the whole middle class neglect thing, overusing childcare and buying their children’s love without actually building quality relationships with them.
It sounds as tough KR was an incredible mum before she had money too.

I agree with you, I like most of the way she parents though she can be pretty blind to the role money plays in making her parenting style possible.

As ypu have suggested though i don't think it's got much to do with Bobby.

That’s how all teens behave. Check back when her frontal lobe has fully developed at 25, she’ll no doubt be a very well rounded successful woman.

Maybe. I have boys and they weren’t ever like that, although my 15 year old niece can be rather self absorbed at times so perhaps it’s more of a girl thing

Her comment on her stories that drinking margs while breastfeeding is fine because "breast milk is made from your blood not the contents of your stomach"...Now I don't have any thoughts about having a drink while BFing, but its a bit worrying to me that she doesn't seem to understand that alcohol enters your bloodstream almost as soon as you drink it...hence 'blood alcohol level' being the way we measure alcohol intoxication...
