She's posted at least one story of Fenna trying some sort of food (watermelon?) Even if she hadn't, just because something isn't shown it doesn't mean it isn't happening. As much as it seems these celebs share, we only see a snippet really.

I think many of us on this thread agree that she is a really decent person with a strong work ethic and she obviously adores her family. I think for most of us, any issues we have lie with her choice of partner in BK, and how she seems to have changed since meeting him again. But as above, I'd be a hypocrite not to acknowledge that we only see what is portrayed/shared.

100% this! I really admired (still do) her work ethic and parenting style. But she has become insufferable since getting back with BK, and I now have no respect for her and how her personality has changed.
 
Latest podcast: I can't believe that someone with her intelligence and common sense can't get her head round the fact that nobody is going to want to do some kind of random piecemeal x hours a week live-in childcare position?! It's ridiculous?!

Also it made me sad that she was so defensive and self effacing about how she'd never use the nanny to let her do leisure activities like go to lunch or get her nails done...but Bobby the STAY AT HOME parent can do as much golf as he likes.
 
I’ve not finished the latest episode yet but did she actually say she wants a nanny to work on an ad hoc basis? Like a zero hours contract? Not cool Katherine. People need base hours and a proper job description. Ffs.

Also, the snark because she didn’t get an invite to the barbie premiere when ‘less famous’ people got an invite 🙄 as it would have been a nice ‘little date night’ for her and Bobby. Read the room KR. Check your privilege as the kids like to say.
 
I genuinely cannot for the life of me figure out how she thinks it would work...it gives me anxiety just thinking about it...! Would the 'weekend nanny' live there all the time or just weekends? And with no formal/set hours, would they basically be at KR's beck and call? Imagine never knowing when you're going to have to work...shudder

Why doesn’t she get an aupair? That would be far and away the easiest option if she could organise slightly separate accommodation for them (Bobby’s gym). Generally from Europe but she could even get a beloved Canadian or an Aussie and you help out for up to a set amount of hrs a week (I think up to 20) in exchange for a cultural exp, food, accomodation and ‘pocket money’ which the agency advises on. I don’t love the aupair arrangement sometimes because some families absolutely take the piss and seem to think they have a live in nanny in exchange for a 100 gdp a week but I don’t think KR would do that, if say she would pay quite well and to be fair it would be an interesting experience for the aupair.

So if you are really katheryn, that’s what you need.
 
I think she has a very North American work ethic which is like 100% with no off switch/ no concept of out of hours and obviously that's how she gets a rep as being good to work with/ a hard worker but probably makes her not a good boss. A bit like how everyone supposedly hated working for Meghan Markle at Buckingham Palace 🤣 it's just a culture clash

She probably also thinks of herself as a 'cool boss' a la mean girls and thinks the perks of her personality, her lifestyle etc make up for the demands when as others have said it's a very rare employee that is as invested in their boss's life and business as the boss themselves is
 
What experience does she think that Nanny will be getting by being on call for as and when they’re needed? She started by seeing if she could get a Nanny on placement. They need to achieve certain hours and objectives surely?! Not just hanging around the house in case her and Bobby decide to go on a date night.
 
If you want a nanny/ mothers help/ childminder/ whatever you wanna call it to do random hours you have to pay them full time. And probably at least two of them to cover day and night. Not like she's not got thr money for it she is clearly absolutely loaded - due to her own hard work, not taking that away from her - but she needs to acknowledge the value of other people's time even if it's just lowly women's work like caring for children etc
 
I’m a bit worried about her actually.
She is an attachment parent and this does not mix well with earning money because you can’t be in 2 places at once.
Her podcast gripes are blindingly privileged e.g. wrong milk on holiday in luxury hotel, refusing to eat from evening menu at a hotel despite staff saying that was what was happening, begrudgingly going to nhs Drs then slagging off the whole vibe in the surgery as if that’s not what ALL of her listeners have to do, using the same hospital as Kate Middleton to give birth, having a smear test for £1K, complaining about a nanny making small talk with her. None of this is relatable K!
Her alignment with Bobby’s more right wing politics and Geoff Norcott the proudly Conservative comedian is off brand to say the least. Sympathising with Jonah Hill’s appalling behaviour. Know your audience to keep your brand protected!
The final nail: Parting ways with her PR company quite vocally then being offended that she wasn’t invited to a premier recently.
I agree with her that for the most part they are a massive waste of money which would be better spent of Fenna and Fred’s private education but but they are objective and they know your audience, what they’re made up of and what your brand is in very succinct terms.

I do hope she can pull it back to the success she had before.’
 
That’s a good point about the PR. Cannot believe how expensive they were though 😵. Paying more than an average wage for a few invites?? But she is suffering as a result.

I think her brand has always be spiky even pre-bobby but things have accelerated for sure.
I wonder how things would’ve gone if she’d kept bobby and the kids separate.

The parenting tv thing sounds awful. Any parent who has chosen a defined style to parent with is always insufferable. I think most people use a combination of the bits they liked about how they were raised, the opposite of what they didn’t like and the rest is just winging it. Any extreme ‘all or nothing’ style is just going to mess up the kid.

She is choosing to go down the anti- woke road and occasionally I agree with her but the Jonah hill thing came off as internalised misogyny.
